I had one box from x-force and it was the best one that I ever owned and I like the other yeah who’s watch the pep on the meter knowing that it’s the rms that makes it all happen. I want another 2 driving 6 amp that had superior power on a stock alternator and group 27 battery....

Top of the day to ya Mr X-Force. Not much experience with amplifiers here but I have been watching the unnamed experts videos and I've seen a couple of yours. However it does seem troubling that his comments are disabled on all his videos. Myself I don't know what's bullshit and what's not. Having said that I just purchased a 5 pill worldwide and was wondering if you could tell me what size power cable and fuse I need to install this amp? Or if anyone has done a video addressing power requirements and proper installation of different size amplifiers?

You can certainly grind the tops of TO3 transistors and see the fabrication style of the wafer. Transistors such as the 2N3055 were built in different ways by different manufacturers.

Don't forget to start making noise just before you key the mic ! God forbid anyone see small deadkey watts or where the unmodulated carrier level is set because that is irrelevant (you know the guy) . if someone asks in your comments section(provided it's not disabled) just tell them you set the radio at about 1 watt and if they tell you that's not what they asked for, just delete any further correspondance from them or risk having to be honest. Say What???? If your asking that, then you didn't understand the video. In a nut shell, there's NOTHING that ANYONE could ever tell you about a transistor by popping the top off of it and looking at the inside. And Anyone Who Tries To Tell You ANYTHING About A Transistor After Looking At It's Insides Is Just Playing You For A Complete Idiot And Fool. So At The Point You Start To Believe Them, You Might As Well Bend Over And Grab Your Cheeks, Because They're Putting It Into You Where The Sun Don't Shine.... The ONLY Way You Can Tell ANYTHING About A Transistor Is With Meters, And Even Then, You STILL Don't Know Anything About The Grow Process.........

Most of it is hidden, but with a system of this size, you don't want to tie wires together, or hide them all. That leads to fire, cross-talk, feedback, etc. The setup is that way for a reason.

If a new meter face was made to span the distance when using 30 ua, wouldn't that fix the problem?

The aftermarket meter I have measured 27ua for the marked full scale and it was not at the stop. Didn't you increase to 30ua and the meter was showing a little past the scale? I want to try and scan the meter face into Photoshop and increase the scale by 10%. That should now show a full scale with 30ua.

+Donald D'Egidio if it was only that easy. You can't change the electrical scale of a meter by changing the printed scale on the face. That's like saying that if you change the printed numbers to be 10% higher, then your amp will be doing 10% more power.

Determined the meter can't use more than 28ua before the coil hits the magnet housing. Bought a true Bird replacement meter. Problem solved.
