I wore the 'Love' album out as a teenager playing this on the phonograph set at 'repeat'. Loud, very loud... oh those were the days.

This is painful to listen to. Absolutely no voice or singing ability. Keith Richards sounds operatic in comparison.

We need a biopic movie about Lou. I reckon Hugh Laurie could play a convincing Lou.

I've always (and that means for 50 years) thought that Lou Reed was over-rated and that really it was ONLY when he was playing with the Velvets that either he or they sounded right.

Reed was a sick overrated dork . But one of the greatest rock concerts of all time was headed by Reed in december 1973 in New York City. Reed just yell/talked his sick lyrics, he couldn't play the guitar or any instrument to save his life. The musicians in the band that backed him made it one of the greatest hard rock concerts of all time: Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter on guitars, Prakash John on bass, Pentti 'Whitey' Glan on drums & Ray Colcord on keyboards

Lou played a more tolerable guitar solo on Video Violence than he did during his 6/15/86 performance at Giants Stadium.
