In the very next scene MLK calls out Huey for using violence and censorship against a political rival. Yes, there are people like this guy out there who probably would've treated MLK this way but you missed the whole point of this episode if you think Hueys way of handling things was the right way

Even back then there were people who would lazily accuse people of hating America if disagreed with the government actions, or disagree with their favor party, and ingore that its possible to still love the country even if you criticize it. Its one of the oldest tactics of the war machine uses to manipulate people.

Growing up, I watched reruns of I Love Lucy all the time on Nick at Nite. I was maybe 9 or 10 when I first saw this episode, and it hit me right in the feels! ^__^

It’s obvious the love they had for each other. But Desi had that ‘roaming eye’ that Lucy could not, and did not, ignore. Sad. This scene is heart wrenching.
