Very interesting video, you sound to have had a hard life in your younger days but you hard work and determination has got your through. I too have had a life of ups and downs but through it all I have been prepared to work hard and save for my future, like you I am now retired and repealing the rewards of all my hard work. When Safeway(BC) has the scene card offer when you purchase their grocery gift cards, I take advantage of that. This offer appears about every 3 months or so. They have this offer this week until Wednesday. If you purchase $150 you get $10 back in Scene reward points. You can do this 5x $150= $750( in the fine print) and can get them in any denomination you like…I buy 10 $75 gift card for a total of $750 and get $50 worth of grocery points. I use those cards as my grocery sinking fund. Usually a week or two after that offer, they offer a redemption when you cash in 1000 points ($10) they will give you 200 points ($2) back in points. You can only use that offer once…it’s in the fine print, but the cashiers will try to get you to cash in more points so be aware of that. I hope that helps.
