Love said to Joe almost verbatim "I don't care if you're fucking the neighbour, but are you obsessed with her?", when she confronts him about his infidelity with Natalie. She isn't too concerned about Joe getting physical with other women, she cares about if he is in love with them. As we know, when Joe "loves" someone, he obsessively stalks them, steals their belongings, fantasizes about them sexually, kills for them etc. These things are a pattern for him, it is how we the audience know he is in love with someone. Love is sharp, she knows Joe - when he closed his eyes whilst engaging with Sherry, Love saw him slip into a different place, she knew immediately that he was fantasizing about another woman - the woman he actually loves. And Love knew that woman was not her. Also Love does not love Theo, he was just there to give her attention, to make her feel sexy and wanted because she was not getting that from Joe despite her best efforts. She actually wanted that attention and affection from Joe because she loves him. That's the difference; they're both cheating but for different reasons. The show tells you all these things, you don't even have to do much reading between the lines.
