I enjoyed your video very much. I lost 50 pounds and now have "nothing" to wear! I took some items into an alteration place but have no idea what it is going to cost. I'm pretty good with my sewing skills so I have decided I'm going to try altering my clothes. I have a lot! some items are brand new & are huge on me. I went from a size 16 in jeans down to a size 4. Some of these I only got to wear a couple of times. Anyway, I'm asking for any advice & videos you have to share. I have dresses, pants, tops, t-shirts, jeans etc. Help? Thank you so much.

I really want to avoid cutting off the sleeves. Luckily they are too wide anyway so i can try to raise it with the sleeves. Im scared tho, hope it works. Thanks!

Hoi, , some time ago I used a piece of wide elastic in almost the same color of the shirt to make the neckline less deep! And afterwards I sewed some rhinestones and small pearls onto the elastic. I have to do everything by hand cause I really can not work with a sewing machine!! Love from Pinkie

The color of the thread isn’t really going to matter since no one is going to see it lol (also, this is a great tutorial, when I get the time I’ll definitely try it out [though probably on an older pair first though, since I wouldn’t want to mess up])

Little pokets are the worst, even men's pants are following this stupid trend nowdays, with many many pants you can fit a phone but if you sit the phone will start pushing against your pelvis bone and is really unconfortable. Or some pokets are like a triangle with the point facing down, you put the phone and it will rotate and press on your testicle. Different case is the diagonal pokets, you put there the phone and it will fall off when you sit. Pokets need to be long and flat, why is so hard? The paradox is that my pair of dumb 10€ jeans have the best pokets, even better than my expensive ones. This tutorial is a gift.

Thank you for this video! I used your technique to fix the ripped pocket in my favourite Tramarossa chinos. It was my first attempt at using a thread and a needle but it came out perfectly! Really proud of myself! 😁

You made the thread double. I have never realized you could do that to get stronger stitches.😂😂 I don't stitch much 😂
