In the first run BM has the biger fuzz power. However, if the dude just played out of the hammer tone without the comparison, I thought it sounded just fine. When it came to the neck pickup to me that was purely a mater of choice what sound the guitar player wanted. As a general rule I like to go down the road less traveled so most likely guitar dudes would prefer the BM I go with the hammer tone for that sound. At the end of the day your average music listener is not going to care what fuzz pedal you use if the they can't get into the tune they don't care about the particular sound your using. With the tone pot closed i could barly tell the difference had i not known he was doing a sound comparison most of use probably would not have noticed at all. I will save my money and go with hammer tone.

hey! great video, I think they're good for metal as this sound is so particular, obviously as you say, they need to be kicked a bit in the balls in order to provide a high gain sound (with a TS for example) but overall the sound is way more original for metal than usual ESP's. take care

For what is each lead? I mean what is the use of each lead the one with delay or reverb is for solos or harmonies?

For the solo I used the "lead w/reverb" patch on my Metallica Liveset. At 35 seconds on the short are two different guitar solos which are harmonized.

Thanks for this comparison, I was looking for something. But… it would of been fair to connect the TC in front of Katana as well, NOT from DI. This way the two pedals could of been compared in almost same conditions.

Very good review. I own one, and agree that a setup was needed. It was far from perfect, but only setup wise. The guitar cable input jack had to be fixed, it was bending the guitar cable tip causing it to be UNgrounded, and once fixed, it is better now but not 100%, as it is not snug enough compared to what it should be like, but no more grounding issues. The pick-up pots needed adjustment as well. So, all that said and done, it is a guitar I pick up more often than my much more expensive others, and based solely on the Meteora's spectacular tone. I still would buy it again, if I lost the one I have.

Thanks, Man. I happy you like it too. I think it's great guitar. I absolutely love the aesthetic, sound and the playability. I still have some issues with the three-way switch, though. I sprayed it with contact cleaner more than once.

Hi friend! What configuration do you use in the delay of the flights of the bumblebee?
@VibeAlchemy
@VibeAlchemy 7 ай бұрын
Hey Man! The settings can be slightly different according to the delay you are using. For this video I used a digital delay. The time was set at 1/8 dotted and the feedback was at 0 which means basically just one repetition. I set the BPM of the metronome at 195. In some cases, if your delay asks you to set the milliseconds, you'll need the formula I outlined in the video.

Great video. I've been torn between the two and I was leaning toward the Cinders because of the price but I really like the sound and dynamics of the Blues Driver. Personally I liked the BD with single coils better than the Cinders.
@jimmythorpe4368
@jimmythorpe4368 3 ай бұрын
Think for single coil the TC electronics is better because it's a little fuller sounding... It also has a cooler gain when it's fully cranked. I've owned both. They are both great but I kept the TC. I play a Telecaster so I liked that little bit of fullness

After all, you can’t go wrong with any of these two classics. At some point of the speed knobs, they can get really similar. Overall, the MXR is smoother and more friendly. The EXH can get really crazy and sounds a little but sharper to me. But, again, both are classics.

JJ Cale was not only a guitarist/ singer/ songwriter, he was an engineer. He had an old Harmony acoustic that he had tinkered with over the years...the thing looked vaguely menacing, like something the Crypt Kicker Five would play! It had a very unique sound.

Slash's Les Paul replica was not a cheap guitar. Cheaper than the ridiculously inflated price of a '59 vintage Gibson, sure, but I doubt it was cheaper than a current-model Gibson.
