Rose, how are you dragging that over to Word? Where are you dragging it from? Having trouble getting designed labels all on a page to print.
@ramblinrosecottage5983Ай бұрын
When your design is ready, click the down load button on the right of the screen. Your label will appear as a download at the bottom of your screen. Open a blank Word document, then go back to your internet browser so that you can grab the download and then drag it over to your Word document. From there you can manipulate the size and placement of your label by going to the Layout tab in your Word document. In Layout, at the top towards the right is a position tab, which also will have a size tab. I position mine to be center, and then click on the size tab and make mine 2.5" and hit okay. You can size yours to whatever you need it to be. I just like 2.5' tall label. If you make your margins the smallest you can, you can get 4 labels on a page. All of them centered so that you when you cut them, horizontally, you are cutting across the page. This way they will wrap around your soap with the label centered in the front. I hope this helps. If you need more, let me know. Maybe I can find time to do a mini video on this.

Have you ever had an issue with the tallow separating/not mixing fully when doing it in pure liquid form? I can produce a batch with tallow, olive, coconut, etc and it works great... but when it's just pure tallow, the fat seems to separate quite a bit and doesn't really reach trace (even after 20 mins stick blending) Thank you!
@ramblinrosecottage5983Ай бұрын
@ReelHookedCo truthfully, I have never made a liquid soap from just one oil, including just tallow. I am not a fan of one oil/fat soap for bar soap, as well, although I have made them, and will continue to make one oil/fat soap bar soaps. It took me a lot of tweaks to get the recipe I now use the way I want it and I have not experienced separation in my liquid soap, except for one occasion and I figured it was due to old Potassium Hydroxide. I ended up throwing that batch out. Sorry I couldn't help. Thanks for watching.

I’ve never done 100% palm oil, but I put it in every loaf and it does make a hard bar❣️
@ramblinrosecottage59833 ай бұрын
neither have I until this one. I have done 100% coconut (with a 20% superfat) and 100% olive oil, which I did not care for, felt like washing with slime. This was a first with 100% palm and I was pleasantly surprised.

What temperature do you recommend the lye water when adding it to the oil?
@ramblinrosecottage59833 ай бұрын
When making liquid soap, it really doesn't matter. You are pouring your lye water into oils that have already been warmed by the slow cooker. It's all getting heated by the slow cooker anyway. You just want to make sure that you are constantly using your stick blender and stirring in between bursts while working to get to trace, so that the batter doesn't overheat and bubble over. When making cold process soap, I like my lye water and my oils to be in the 90 to 100 degree range. It seems to be my sweet spot. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
