What’s the best setup to fish the krej? I see you using a baitcaster. But what action and line you recommend?

Bought mine just yesterday at Canadian Tire. Have yet to try it out but I’m excited to go use it soon here on the Niagara River.

Like the bait but seems to get a line of line twist when I fish it. Not sure if this is a concern with others or just me.

You don’t use a weight ?

Not all of us have bass boats. The Finisher, the Krej, and grubbs would be great for the spillways in the winter. As video shows, it will catch walleye/saugeye.

One question: How would it work on spillway bank for saugeye. I use black/white jerks. Sometimes ,the jerk would dig in the rocks. Imagine the krej would pop up from the rocks. Just a thought.

Do the line float like braid and mono? or a slow sink?

I like the lure a lot I just wish you made this exact lure but without the rattling. In my opinion it doesn’t always work positively in my oppinion the salmonoid and trout species are turned off by it. That’s why in my opinion my properly tuned rapalas still outfish this bait on my same boat. It’s the only thing I can see is the difference. Your baits are perfectly tuned unlike the rapalas I have to tune every one

I been doing this for years with a little bait called the jackall riser bait. While this is a little bit different, the riser bait has a metal bill thats shaped like a chatter blade, it is very similar too. The riser shimmys, etc. its cool though, i like any new baits really.

i have an idea here for trout and I think it is a good one berkley should start making Power bait hellgrammites. I know the trout will go nuts over them. I love berkley power bait 3 inch floating trout worms, my favorite color is orange peel with the glitter on it. Oh yeah, I catch some big rainbows and big brownies with that 3 inch worm.

Will these work with large mouth? I just ordered some but mostly just to drift for walleye. But wouldn’t mind using them on large mouth if they worked.

Why’s everyone being so negative ? This is a FFS optimized bait, no need to hate on him. Sure he can catch fish with or without FFS. But more power to ya if he wants to scope. I promise you you still have to understand seasonal patterns and know how to pattern fish to consistently catch them and have a good day. FFS just helps optimize your skills 👍 I enjoy both. I still just use my eyes and find points with transition banks to catch fish. When it’s spring and I’m fishing pre spawn bass on points I just beat the bank, in the winter when I’m looking for shad balls I use side imaging and then hone in with FFS to catch feeding fish. Bring versatile and knowing about the bass behavior and how to use your electronics is when you can really kill it. Somebody who only knows how to catch fish on FFS compared to somebody who understands FFS and how bass behavior works will out fish the person who knows only FFS. So for people who think the pros wouldn’t be there without FFS are ridiculous in my opinion

A great company with great products, but think of the advertising for this. They are advertising to a tiny group, just a blip. 98% of anglers don’t use ffs and in 5 years it will be 97% So they are essentially eliminating the majorly of anglers by pushing it ffs. Hey 98% don’t fish me, nothing to see here move along. This screams don’t buy me to a huge group of anglers. Any add campaign that pushes away any anglers let alone a large group needs to be scrapped, that’s common sense.
