I been doing this for years with a little bait called the jackall riser bait. While this is a little bit different, the riser bait has a metal bill thats shaped like a chatter blade, it is very similar too. The riser shimmys, etc. its cool though, i like any new baits really.

There’s a reason they don’t show you the action. Only split seconds of it moving. Don’t fall for advertising. It acts like many other baits, especially sinking jerkbait. The lip is a bait to catch fishermen

I noticed they didn’t show that action too

There are other vids on the net where you can see the backwards flutter.

How much do you need to see? You need more than a few seconds? The entire video is only seconds long.

To all of the whiners complaining...you do realize you could easily use this lure with no electronics right? I do not have any electronics snd still think the lure is a great idea

Reminds me of the old FLYING LURE. LOL But I actually caught a lot of fish on them

Look’s like another lure that catches fisherman… not fish! Forward facing sonar… if you can can set up and play Nintendo switch, you can catch fish! I’m looking forward to the no electronics tour!

I bet you couldn’t catch a fish to save your life without electronics and Forward Facing Sonar! Maybe in a farm pond but that’s it!

@stevencaldwell838 I've fished several kayak tournaments on lake havasu with zero electronics and had 2 2nd place finishes out of 30 kayaks. Also a big fish award. I don't rely heavily on electronics but it's a tool and if you can, use it. I only barely use a garmin striker 4cv now...

So its a back glide bait but instead of soft its hard? Japan has been doing this for years, not that innovative. But looks cool and will be accessible for the domestic market without having to find Japanese stuff online and shipped here
@mitchdavis767111 ай бұрын
Berkeley is known for just copying other companies products. Especially the Japanese. They’ve copied so many baits and mass produced them and can sell them cheaper (think cheap imitation knockoffs on a huge level) and they take the credit for the innovation and say it’s years of research and development but it’s lies. But they can get away with it because Pure Fishing is like the biggest fishing company in the world. Last year they ripped of a smaller Japanese company, Grow Designs. They have a large glide bait called the Flagg 255 and they came out with the Nessie. It’s almost exactly identical with the same type of hook hardware, style shape, etc. it was backed by Mike Iacanelli too. Berkeley said they developed it through science and years of research and development. They blatantly just copied the bait. Then they won an award for innovation at iCast. The Gillie is also a direct knockoff of a Japanese bait. They do it all the time. Huge corporate bully. Corporate greed.

@@mitchdavis7671 100% The Issei Gill Flat was the original, its just funny how they do that, change the flex points and shape of the contours, and the cut points...its a joke. None of these companies come up with real innovative ideas

@@jordannarlock7995Berkley Sick Fish. Skeet Reese said he designed it. I think he removed that video after getting called out. It’s the exact same bait as the Trash Fish but a stiffer plastic.

@@jamesbarron1202 It is just funny how these "pros" will slap their name and approval on anything their sponsors come out with. Not only that, but shove it down your throat in video after after and ride it like a doe in heat until you cant stand it anymore. I moved to JDM recently not cause I wanted to be "that JDM" guy, like the "crossfit people" and never shut the hell up about it. But because I just to try new things and innovative ideas. Well before these hedge fund fishing companies stole it and diluted it.

@@hillbillytarzanI'm not being rude and not going off what "somebody told me" but you obviously haven't had one in your hands to fish with. It's legit. The characteristic that sets it apart from a sinking jerkbait is it falls back to the fish. It's a killer for schooling fish and deeper brush pile fish.

A great company with great products, but think of the advertising for this. They are advertising to a tiny group, just a blip. 98% of anglers don’t use ffs and in 5 years it will be 97% So they are essentially eliminating the majorly of anglers by pushing it ffs. Hey 98% don’t fish me, nothing to see here move along. This screams don’t buy me to a huge group of anglers. Any add campaign that pushes away any anglers let alone a large group needs to be scrapped, that’s common sense.
