at least, to my ears, I found that the mini TS gets along way better with humbuckers than the green mile, whereas, the green mile sounds nicer with single coils

Hi,Great tone and great playing. Ive got a triaxis and torpedo - if you were to use 2 two notes would you then get a true stereo sound? Plus what effects were on that? Sounded like delay rather than the reverb on the two notes? Actually thinking about it, how did you get the stereo spread from a wiring point of view? Sorry, im a valve, not tech sort of guy... Doh!! ;) Thanks in advance Rob

Hi Matt, thanks for comparison, but volumes are significantly different. did you use EMG pickups with proper 25k volume tone pots or 500k pots? Thanks from now. Celal
@MatteoFarindolini8 ай бұрын
Hello Celal and thanks for your comment! Yes, the pots were correct, but probably there were height differences in the pickups... Cheers, Matte

Currently felt inclined to start using my DS-1 again. I currently use it more like a boost before my actual boost pedal and Klon klone. That helps me get back some of the output loss from the DS-1. Not sure how to describe how the EQ is affected, but I like it. Bigger, fatter sound without being wooly.

Hello!!! Very nice tone!!!! Does the drive knob have a little wiggle or play when you try to move it from side to side? Because my brand new ts mini have. I just want to know if we have the same case. Thank you in advance😊

Here’s a real question: if I have a Boss OD1, and a Boss Blues Driver, and a Big Muff, is there any point in getting a DS1?

The DS1 will probably sit in between the two OD and the Big Muff.

For the rhytm guitar passive Fender has a lot more feel for country,blues,funk music,rock'n'roll,grunge.For heavy metal,hard rock and other heavy styles I guess active better , it is also got more feel on solos.Why not to play them both one for rhytm and one for solo.For example Gybson for solo and Fender for rhytm are both great.I think it depends on music style and have a sense what you are going to show in your composition !

Active seem to have more of a 'DI' sound for lack of a better description, perhaps with more of a 'pop' to it (this is the crappiest description ever) Both are great, just different and possibly cater to different styles and/or preferences Edit: I might be biased because I play metal on a single coil-ish tele (noiseless), but man the passives through gain beat the crap out of those EMGs.

Don't you need to put a load on both of Triaxis' channels? Let me know, I have a Triaxis and Two Notes Torpedo Live, and I want to use them together.

Hi, you don't need a reactive load because the Triaxis is just a preamp.
