I hear you and appreciate the info however you said, "$1200 per week monthly payment." Im hoping you meant $1200 per month. I was looking at SFI until I saw what they wanted for the balloon payments on some of their trucks $50-$80,000. Thanks for the info though.

T-Mobile sucks on the road. I keep a BOOST mobile backup phone. It’s $25 for unlimited so where one doesn’t work the other one does. Always stay with service

@@Againsttheworldlogistics Boost uses towers from all major carriers. That’s why it has better service. It uses AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon’s towers. It’s helped me out a lot.

mannn i chased that same problem for tha longest. ended up starting with tha egr cooler and than a bunch if hoses under tha radiator than tha heater core. finally i stoped loosin coolant. i was burning through half a gallon every friday. i was starting to worry it was leaking somewhere n getting into tha oil. n damn i remeber them arconics pre loads from my fraley days. dont miss that heavy dumb shit.

@@412hwc I still feel like it’s leaking from somewhere else. I checked the oil and it’s not there so it must be either leaking into the erg or the exhaust and burning off because I don’t see any coolant on the ground even after idling all night. Most of our loads out of Arconic aren’t really that heavy most of the time. They’re usually around 34-40k.

@@chrischillin6085Boyd doesn’t let you come right in and do lease purchase anymore. Now you have to be a company driver for 4-8 weeks before you can transfer over.

@@whalen453 Apply first,once approved got to SFI because they’re going to ask you for a letter of intent to hire from JB Hunt to process your application. JB won’t ask for truck info until orientation.

i was a company otr driver for many years till i got married and kids come along there grown now thinking about going back and buying a truck looking at Boyd lease purchase but i never did flatbed always a van or tanker do they train on flatbed we always called them "skateboards"

@@33turkeyman Yes, Boyd will train you. Flatbed training is 3 days, after that you go out with a trainer for about 12 days the you run short loads around Birmingham for a week, test out, then out on your own.

As far as coolant leak double check your hose clamps then if that doesn't work, check the EGR Cooler/Turbo for leaks(pressure test)
