I''m retired now. But this reminds me of the good times delivering wide loads, most were 14 feet wide. Largest was 16 feet wide and 63 feet long. 2 company escorts, and 4 state police.

Have you tried broker freight through mercer yet I heard they won't let the owner ops do it. I think they don't want them to see how much there cutting rates

They won’t let you run DAT loadboard freight. I think they only let you do it if your stuck in CA

What's up does twice, tanker, hazmat help the owner operator at mercer get better paying loads at mercer I've seen tanks on flatbeds before I already have twic thinking about adding the other 2 you're advice appreciated peace.... oh can you put tanker and twice & hazmat into the load board to see what pops up when searching for loads

TWIC is mandatory at Mercer, you have to get it within 90 days of hire. There are allot of Hazmat loads but the pay isn’t that much more. Tanker endorsement is useless over here.

The rates are basically the same, they might add an additional $75 for hazmat. You cant tell if the load is hazmat from the loadboard video because you wont see those details unless you actually click on the load details. Twic loads are listed all the way to the right of the loadboard screen. TWIC loads aren't that often unless your pulling a military load, not to m,any port loads. @@Troy-zu3gn

What's up bra did you ever hook up with the agent in Pennsylvania that has the dedicated freight is the agent in Philly you might have to haul loads for her for a while before before you can get hooked up on the dedicated stuff good luck peace

I did, but the local stuff that she has, she has enough drivers to cover it. I basically have to wait my turn. She did give me a load to IL for Monday.
