Paragraph guy here. So basically what happened is obvious. Lois died and people thought it would be a day where they could do anything because superman would turn back time to save her and undo anything they did, then this happened and they thought he didn't care and they'd be stuck with the consequences for their actions. Turned out that wasn't superman. It was a shape shifter pretending to be him while the real superman was captured. He got free, turned back time and saved her. Best part is their boss is batmans cousin. He normally sucks up to Bruce but when he thinks he can do whatever he wants he didn't suck up to him and earned his respect. Bruce invited him to a party at his place and when he went back to work he told everyone he found the batcave and Bruce is batman, then superman turned back time and they forgot.

No it's not. I remember that episode so this isn't just a guess but spoiler alert. That wasn't superman. Basically what's going on is kinda obvious. Lois died so they thought it was a free day because superman would rewind time to save her, then this happened. Turned out that was something like a shape shifter pretending to be him. Real superman was trapped but got free and rewound time to save her.

Don rosa is also a great Artist and hes " life and time of scrooge mcduck" is such a Masterpiece but it doesn't mean he wants to take over the credit on barks making the duck verse. Don rosa is just another fan of barks duck comic and as its fan, he did hes best not to put some shame in duck comics so its not right putting some blame to him that even don himself admit that it he doesn't have any bad intention taking the credit over duck comic, he actually made it more popular with hes " life and time of scrooge McDuck" so there nothing to criticize with over the 2 artist.

It is quite iconic to me; it seems that it is rare to see these particular tricks used in fiction as opposed to the more directly deadly methods. Then again, I suppose in most cases people are trying to figure out how to kill vampires not how to delay them or slow them down.

Carl “The Duck Man” Barks was an Oregonian that created a good portion of comics and Disney. Especially the Donald Duck Comics that Donald Duck and all other duck characters originated from. They are Oregon Ducks in California and Florida and the rest of the world.

Yes, probably because Don Rosa's "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, Chapter Twelve" contains references to Citizen Kane. I read that when Carl Barks first pictured Scrooge McDuck in "Christmas on Bear Mountain", the mansion and other parts already were a nod to Orson Welles' movie as well.

The girl in the lobby will play coy about Al Capone, and not use his name, but when you approach the theater, she just yells it out. I mean, I can sort of see the logical connection, but the way your interaction played out, Mr Untouchable, who is visiting the guest at the top, I doubt she would use that name so openly.
