What's with the background music, it's like a serial killer fondly remembering his first murder

Agree! It is too loud and detracts from the speak. So worth a downvote! Så ka han måske lære det.

@@illel-zorro9527 What the fuck are you talking about? Carl Barks has always been held above all other Donald Duck-artists in Finland, where DD (Aku Ankka, jos olet psykoosisi sivupersoonana edes suomalainen) is even today the most popular and most widely circulated comic book in the whole country.

Carl “The Duck Man” Barks was an Oregonian that created a good portion of comics and Disney. Especially the Donald Duck Comics that Donald Duck and all other duck characters originated from. They are Oregon Ducks in California and Florida and the rest of the world.

An interesting choice of music, using the soundtrack from Citizen Kane here.

Yes, probably because Don Rosa's "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, Chapter Twelve" contains references to Citizen Kane. I read that when Carl Barks first pictured Scrooge McDuck in "Christmas on Bear Mountain", the mansion and other parts already were a nod to Orson Welles' movie as well.

Dont really get what this is about? Can you explain a bit more?

Barks' managers were talking shit about Rosa in the media and implying that they were speaking on behalf of Barks himself.

Carl Barks was being exploited and abused by people he hired to manage his work and they were trying to create animosity between him and Don Rosa by speaking on his behalf and saying awful things about Rosa.

Are you joking? They both have their strengths. It’s like steak and butter or salt and pepper: great on their own, fantastic together.
