In my opinion all these mods are a waste of money except the simple airbox mod, until the ECU receives a remap the money and time you spend is wasted when a simple Maxi scooter leaves these RE 350's for dead.

I don't even notice any issues with the low rider seat. Nice C.G. on the bike.. not sure sitting higher with the touring seat is needed. . . Low rider looks to be the narrow of the 3.

Hi Marc, thank you for your videos. When you use wired solution (camera + adapter + lav mic), do you see the difference between RODE Lav mic and DJI lav mic? I already have RODE and thinking if I need DJI one. The reason I a masking is because when I use my current setup my voice is clipping. But I am also using Apple USB->3.5mm adapter inserted of DJI ome. Trying to eliminate the problem - is it adapter or mic. Thank you.

Nice comparison! I noticed a better noise cancellation at MIC MINI, environmental sound is higher on MIC 2. I 've got DJI MIC MINI but unfortunately also own Osmo Action 3 without OSMO AUDIO system which is available on Osmo Action 4 and 5 Pro... Greetings from Argentina!

I miss my 2021 ADV currently on a s1000XR but find myself riding way to fast at times, on the commutes into London it gets way too hot in the summer. Great bike but the ease of the DCT will be a better choice for the commute. Test riding the new 2025 XADV in a weeks time and may go back to one just the price puts me off

Great Job Marc, I did a quick going over on mine a coupe of months ago with the NXT and it has held up really well. You can feel a thin film of it that stays on there I think which protects it. I'll have to be careful now we have salt on the roads as that'll really damage them for sure, do you salt the roads over there? Best regards, Glyn

Hy Glyn, yes, they salt the roads in Germany too, but we didn't had any snow so far in Berlin. In winter I am only riding my Scooter and the RE Meteor stays safe and dry in the garage :-) Wish you a wonderful Christmas time 🎄🎄

@@Marc.Stones Ok, that is what I thought. The Transalp didn't stay long. I was pondering that before I went down the RE road. I got the Meteor and a month later got the Classic. The Classis is great for shorter rides and is pure eye candy. The Meteor is however more comfortable. Both have different personalities. I love them both.

Why Honda why- do you refuse to use a cog drive belt instead of a dirty, greasy, messy, high maintenance chain? The Yamaha Tmax scooter uses a belt drive why don’t you? That one thing alone would sway me to buy the Yamaha over this thing

Great job for little cost and avoiding the biggest danger of using a drill the metal chuck hitting the aluminium or paintwork plastic is safer I use a rupes rotary as its easier as you can use it flat unfortunately at 500 pounds there cost prohibitive for most people 😎👍

Please tell me how it is to ride the bike the whole day. Does your buttom hurts? Is your spine acing? Please answer me as I would like to buy this bike if it is good to ride! I have had a lot of bikes and the latest is the Honda DCT 750, and the seat is leaning forward so it hurts after an hour in the buttom and the knees. The dealer says I can swopp to the Enfield if I like. Than I loose a lot of money as the Honda has only 3000km on the clock. However I want to go on a real long tour without a buttom that hurts as hell. I am an old man so every year may be my last riding year. Hope for an serious answer!

Just returned back from a trip in Africa. The mic adapter which was attached to the Djji Lav mic and the cable was routed over the visor, disconnected from the OA5 and flew off. I back tracked trying to retrieve but no luck. The same thing happened in Canada but i was able to stop and insert it back again. I also noticed that when connected to my OA4, it was solid and never disconnected. Fortunately, i had my Mic 2 with me to save the rest of the trip. Sound quality wise, different people from different age group perceive sound differently, especially if you take the device from which they are listening. I watched this video on my new TV speaker and find them all good with some minor variation like engine sound loudness. Thanks for making this video to help the motovloggers.

Thanks for this very helpful video. To me the mic mini is the best, your voice is clearer with less clipping although the engine sound is a little quieter. I would add a little extra bass in the edit software which would raise the engine sound a little. I just ordered a mic mini so very happy I did. Thank you...

Hi Marc, great video as always, I appreciate the effort! Regarding the mics, I agree with other comments. Mic 2 is definitely a better mic in terms of obtaining the range of sounds both for your voice and the engine sound. However, it also gets way more wind noise than others. (I also use mic 2 for motovlogging). Lav mic surprised me with almost no wind noise, clear speaking voice and engine sound. And mic mini is surely a good budget alternative, and it cuts the wind better than the mic 2 for me, but the quality of the audio was not as good as the other two. Again, thanks for this detailed comparison!
@Marc.Stones
@Marc.Stones 11 күн бұрын
Hi, yes the lav mic sounds quite good I installed it inside my cheek pad. Compared to the mic 2 it sounds a bit dull and you do not hear that much engine sound.
@bart.aertse
@bart.aertse 11 күн бұрын
Hello Marc, great comparison. To my ears, the Mic Mini sounds the dullest and less sharp than the other mics. The lavalier and the Mic 2 sound more or less the same. A bit of background, I am 67 and my hearing is therefore somewhat less (old age deafness) especially the high tones, I do not use a headset with my IMac or IPad because I am watching a vlog and not an Opera or something like that so the spoken word is the most important and not the ambient noise. If you take the price into account (the price doubles every time) you get the following order: Small budget, the Action 4 with lavalier and adapter. (as long as it stays dry) Slightly more budget, the Action 4 with the Mic Mini. If budget is no problem, the Action 5 pro and the Mic 2. Keep up the good work, always interesting to watch.
@Marc.Stones

Hello, I agree, the Mic 2 is the clearest in the highs. When it comes to size and price, the lavalier mic is the best.
