I don't think you're alone in feeling this way. There is something bittersweet in thinking that it's perhaps it's a situation of 'they walked so that we could run' ? But if you're loved ones love you as you love them, then I'm sure that they love to see you live life the fullest that you can and experience these things and watch you grow.

careful about the heatstroke, always bring water, raincoat and dark umbrella when you re travelling in SEA, tropical country, weather is spontaneous and can be quite extreme at some point in a day.

ugh, this video totally embodies why i want to go to japan. japan just seems like such a nice place to have a relaxing vacation to get away from the stresses and worries of your regular life, from the beautiful landscapes to the soft neutral toned architecture. like i realize that the work culture for locals there is often more intense than in the us, but for whatever reason japan just gives off such a relaxing and chill vibe

this is my most sacred and desired dream!! and that guilty feeling is so valid when people like us (children of immigrant parents) outgrow our current lifestyles. something that came to mind was the line in the Barbie movie "We mothers stand still so our daughters can look back and see how far they've come." and idk it serves as a form of consolation :") we owe hit to our grandparent's, and parent's legacy and /ourselves/ more than anything to chase all of our dreams. we are also the same age and seeing you achieve so many amazing milestones like traveling and seeing the world proves to young adults like me that it IS possible. have pride in your journey!!!
