Hola. Yo tengo una duda respecto al tamaño aparente de la Luna. Habéis dicho que el tamaño se calcula dividiendo la distancia por 100, ¿esto es independiente de la focal empleada? Gracias y un saludo.

Sí, el tamaño luna vs sujeto sólo depende de la distancia de disparo. El tamaño luna vs tamaño encudre/foto depende de la focal. De todos modos, el Panel 2 del Planificador te da el tamaño aparente real para la foto planificada.

I am going to Cape Town in South Africa in the middle of July, and Kasane in Botswana for the last week of the month. Any suggestions for what I might be able to photograph? I am planning a sunset shot over Cape Town from the city’s Signal Hill, but not sure what else is possible.

Great presentation. I shoot primarily with a 14mm lens and enjoyed your many wonderful examples of interesting foregrounds. In terms of shooting panoramas with the foreground effect you are demonstrating, it would be extremely difficult because at such a close distance you would encounter parallax problems when blending. It would also change the entire dynamic of the composition. Thank you for sharing!

My visual calibration is miles off, I had a plan this morning for moonset around 430am, I believe the planner part of it is 100%? I was clouded out sadly so didn’t even get to see the moon. AR was showing moon in quite a different, position, same with sun when it came up, I went onto some of my astro apps, clicked moon and sun and they were the same as the Photopills AR, miles off to where I could see. As long as the planner part is 100% accurate regardless what AR says, I can live with that.

@@PhotoPills thank you. In Scotland it’s rare to get clear skies so it’s very difficult to actually go to shoot location beforehand. I’ve now had 6 failed attempts at full moon sets in a row due to being clouded out.

Alguien que viene del cine usando paneles Neewer?? Imagino que será por tema presupuestario, porque usando los mismos paneles pero de Litepanels, tendria mucha mas portencia de luz. Tanto el modelo Astra como el Gemini, ambos con posibilidad de baterias V-mount. A ponerse a ahorrar 😄 Saludos

Hola Alex. La respuesta es muy larga, voy a tratar de resumirla muy mucho! Lo primero es que si utilizase equipo caro que casi nadie puede adquirir, incluída yo, toda mi labor de divulgación carecería de sentido ya que las personas creerían que no pueden hacer las mismas fotos que yo por falta de presupuesto, y si hay algo que me gusta mostrar es que no es imprescindible un equipo carísimo para lograr buenos resultados ☺ Por otro lado, ¿Qué tiene que ver el hecho de que yo haya trabajado en cine y Tv con el hecho de utilizar paneles Neewer? 🤔🤷🏻♀ Imagino que te refieres a que no tienen buena reputación en algunos círculos, pero yo no soy alguien que se deje llevar por las habladurías 😉 y el resultado de mis fotos iluminadas con esos paneles Neewer es de notable, tan mal no han ido 😄 En cualquier caso, gracias por comentar y darme la oportunidad de explicar esto 😁

Hi question I am using a 600mm lens on a full frame sony. If I set the camera to crop mode, it will give me the equivalent of 900mm lens. When doing this, do I calculate the Hyperfocal distance of 900mm lens?

Yes! Because PhotoPills doesn't know that you're using the crop mode on the full frame :)

Great app. but regret to say it is very hard to follow instructions due to the very thick accent, uneven tempo and very fast speech pattern. I realize you can slow down the video which takes twice as long to endure this presentation but thanks anyway.
