The engine shut off at the stop comes with a small battery, which actually makes the vehicle take off from a dead stop much faster than most. The lag that you are talking about is all in your head. It is not real.

Is this the same for the 2005 too

I put my new battery in and it won’t work now. I can start my car. But the buttons won’t work. Then if I have to leave the car and come back in it. It says no key detected.

Nice video thank you for this. I had an rx years ago. Liked it a lot. Spring 2025 I’m probably buying this car. It looks so nice. I had to add my 2 cents here. Having owned various luxury cars such as rx, x5 and even Audi. The lexus will hold its value much better than others. Another important thing to consider and I cannot say this enough. Cost of ownership. I loved my x5 when I drove it off the lot for the first time. I hated my x5 when it started leaking oil and finally traded it in. I cried when I saw how much it depreciated in value compared to the Lexus w similar miles on it. I buy/finance my cars. I can’t lease. High mileage driver. To be able to get as much as I can on a trade is key for me in the end. Also, lexus you don’t need to take to dealer for service. I recommend doing it but you don’t have to. Most local mechanics can work on them. All parts which they usually have in stock and doesn’t cost arm leg to replace. German cars forget it. I cannot even tell you how much an oil change costs on a ln Audi it’s deplorable. Again, great review here. Thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻

That is not an old body style. That is the FIRST model year "refreshed" body style. The 2024 Model looks EXACTLY the same as it did in 2021. The Space X badging is just that. That trim does not exist. There are two trims, the Model S long range (670hp) and the Plaid. The opening at the bottom helps give the battery pack more airflow and cooling.

Meh... My father had a 2018 rx350 and I was never impressed by it. Road noise was atrocious for a luxury vehicle. I assume it had all the features you've highlighted here, but honestly, my 2016 F150 XLT has a better ride with less engine and road noise.

It depends how long you have to wait at a red light or at road works. Keeping an auto trans in drive and having to keep a foot on the brake for a lengthy time is a bit of a chore.
