I have a 530 did chain from a r1 leing around, im affraid to forged weld it couse of the xring design (cold spots incide the chain couse of air pokets) Is this ktm dirtbike chain a x or o ring chain ? Couse than i have a project for to do with the holidays 😇

Silleen nihkeä joulupukki oli että joutui lahjomaan suurehkolla nipulla seteleitä ennen kuin joulukellon luovutti.

Satanen on kiva pusailla. Mul oli 70 lokomo liimattu jalkaansa ja voin sanoa että jokusen kiilan joutu hakkaa ja muutama taltta väliin ennenkö alkoi no more nails irtoaa. Ihan hiton tiukassa. Nyt satanen on samalla tavaralla kiinni😊

Did you use a mixture of pine and spruce logs in the walls? Can you do that ? What was the form you were cutting the logs with around 5:50 ?

Its all spruce. Normally all wood are the same but on some old houses there is mixed wood. I used diy chainsaw log mill.

Kiitos. Ei ole mitään kursseja tullut käytyä. Ehkä olisi ollut syytä, itseoppimisessa se huono puoli että virheitä tulee väkisinkin matkan varrella tehtyä.

Kyllähän se aika paljon kutistuu. Parempi tulee kun annat olla ensin taapelissa vaikka muutaman kuukauden. Jos löytyy jotain pystyyn kuollutta puuta nii olisi jo liki kuivaa valmiiksi, esim. Jotain kirjanpainajan tuhoamaa.

Jos nyt alkaisin tekemään niin ostaisin varmaan suoraan sellaisen halvan kenttävannesahan. Tosin maksaa alk. 3000e mut pidemmän päälle ois varmaan järkevämpi kuin moottorisaha systeemit. Ainakin jos innostuu vähän enemmän tekemään lautaa yms.

This blade belongs in the Capitol Wasteland of the game Fallout 3.....I am certain that it would slice through any mirelurk armor. It has the look,and I would trust it in a situation.

Well that heat treat was crap. You can see the different color which means different temp which means it's not hardened equally which means it has weak spots. Gotta move it around in the ultimate bur era setups like this. It's gonna crack or chip and not hold an edge.

FYI that is not a 17x [sic] it is a 17" Splitting Axe. The X17 is the revised version with an orange "comfort" handle and a completely different model number. Both axes are definitely related, but both are different, and Fiscars quality with the X17 has diminished since the older, higher quality bonded, non-rubbber to deteriorate version you are holding.

Great job ! Why is there no need to protect the wood from moisture ? We often see an aluminium layer in other projects

Wood will dry and will be ok. Our oldest sauna is from 1950 and there is no aluminium anywhere and still in good condition. You can use aluminum to keep heat inside and save some energy. I added aluminum foil and 25mm wood fiber board to roof later because it took too much wood to heat the sauna in colder weather.

Mitä pidempään antaa kuivua sitä vähemmän painuu. Nuo ketkä isompia rakennuksia tekee kuivattelee mun mielestä parikin vuotta joskus vissiin kauemminkin. Mut kyllä tollasen saunan pystyy veistämään jos on talvella kaadetut/pelkatut puut ni seuraavana kesänä. Kai sitä on tuoreestakin puusta veistetty mutta sitten pitää jättää paljon painuma varoja.
