Palace guards? They were a little underwhelming in my Aserai Only playthrough but 1,000 of them might be different!

Love these tips thank you! I always forget which weapons are the good ones to buy for smithing, I knew wooden hammers are great (+3 hardwood) but I'll add pitchforks to my list! I'm always scared to buy weapons because I've been burnt in the past lol so I rely on battle loot but to be fair if we're bringing in millions it wouldn't matter lol

I started at 50 years old and the child would have turned 18 the year I finished to be fair! This was a year ago and I have since had an adult child but never a grandchild! How many offspring did you end up with?! That's awesome!

I started my character in their 20's and poured a lot into charisma, getting vrile and found a wife relatively quickly as I joined the valadians as a mercenary and kept on saving the lords. My great grandkids never made it to adulthood, and all of the character's that I wasn't playing as assigned their own skills. But I made sure to train up my kids when they came of age by sending them into bandit camps with a couple of banner knights. By this point I had already conquered Valadia and was in a stable position with lots of friends. So they got married pretty much as soon as they came of age.

True, with high ping is hard. Only could be as archer or surgent(doc). Bcs male needs to be good ping in PE(Presistent Empires) mod.

And if as a archer, You need to guese where he will be.

Smelting weapons - higher tiers generally provide higher materials, or use companions (ideally) to refine all the lower grade materials. A cheap way to get a bunch of materials is looks for Pugios and Tribesmen Throwing Daggers, they're very cheap ($100ish each) and give you all but themeskine!

They could be more balanced. Just balance them on top of a horse.

@@Ghost_Here_10 when you add troops with console commands your party size increases to over 5,000 - I'm using cheats to conduct this 'test' 🙂

At least the AI doesn't know how to use them lol. Never seen more than say, 10 in any event party

Don't forget at the start I couldn't get a win! It's a mix of having a full army of high tier troops, everyones medicine skill, the game difficulty and learning your strengths as well as enemies vulnerabilities always takes me a few battles per culture to figure this out to reduce your own losses)

So in this video, with the help from smithing, I had like $3m at that point so I could easily afford any peace deals I wanted. I edited out the wars where there was no combat so it would look like it is happening less in this video - They definitely did declare war but thanks to finances I was able to just do peace. Also to note - every playthrough is different, I've played runs that are massively more hostile/passive than others randomly. I guess it's just down to AI

The thumbnail? For the world conquests I like to personify an animal that represents the in game faction and have them snarling, armed and armoured (using AI image generation). Battania for instance, they wear a lot of bearskin and are a kind of forest/woodland nation so a bear in medieval armour fits perfectly to me. Khuzait, being nomadic I was going to choose a horse and the designs came out really well but the goat was even better. I struggled to find an animal for Aserai and none were working (scorpion needed to be smaller to fit in claws + tail etc and made the design less clear, camels always came out weird) but the snake looked the best - I wrote 'in medieval Arabic armour' and this was the chosen final design - any Arabic writing or symbols are completely unintentional and are only there because AI image generation put them there. Not being able to speak Arabic and unfamiliar with Islam, I never even noticed writing. You said 'islamique word I think is Quran or something like that' - does it say Quran or is it just nonsense that kind of looks like Arabic?

As soon as the troops get to a higher tier they change from cloth and start wearing high quality metal armour! The Faris cavalry unit performed exceptionally and I found I struggled with the palace guard but a mix of everything worked the best for me. I relied on the foot archers a lot!

Haha yes! So many companions died it was absurd AND THEN Rhagaea becoming my nemesis lol. I love that idea! I know in Warband being female had all these different issues, I wonder how Bannerlord does it - might even make the Vlandian playthrough as a queen!?
