@@nancyezrre5874 Hola Nancy! 🫣
@nancyezrre5874Ай бұрын
@nancyezrre5874Ай бұрын

Fantastic recipe. My only suggestion would be to make more caramelized onions than you will need for serving. First, it already takes so long to make them, so why not make a double or triple batch? Second, mujaddara is the kind of dish that tastes great cold the next day-and you want to have those caramelized onions on hand when you’re ready to eat!

Kibbeh is Lebanese. Tabbouleh is Lebanese. Maqeesh are Lebanese. Babaghanouj is Lebanese. Half of Middle Eeastern pastries are Lebanese. But Makloubeh, Msakhan and Mjaddara are Palestinian.

Well, "garam masala" is not really an ingredient! For anyone who cares I make garam with cardamom, cumin, black pepper, cloves, coriander and cinnamon. Some people add nutmeg. So anyway you might tell people to use more of those directly instead of making them look up another recipe and mix twice.

Garam Masala is just a blend of all spices that are known for their "warming" effects when consumed which is what "Garam Masala" really is "Warming Spices" when it is translated to in English...... Garam Masala actually does have powdered cloves in it because it is one of the spices thought to have a "warming" effect on the body........ but well if you want to skip cloves completely, just look up recipes for Garam masala that DON'T have cloves in it...... but just do your research in the spices used before taking down any notes because every recipe is different ......so you'll have to look up at least 3 recipes for the Garam Masala spice powder if you plan to make your own which if you don't mind losing some time online looking up the recipe for Garam masala.... luck for me, i don't have to run to the store to buy Garam masala because my mum makes her own and it's secret recipe (like most cooks who make food so delicious that when you try to replicate their recipe, you still can't get that same result....)..... But anyway, thank you for your very informative video..... i'll try this recipe..... thank you once again
