Chippenham is only 11 miles from me in Bristol. So sad. Its so easy to cry 😢 over Eddie's death and what happened. The photos of Sharon and Gene was so sad, when they returned back to America. @robinpunter4377 Hi Robin. Yes, it took 20mins to walk to the Albert Dock area and not the most scenic route! There's nothing close outside the hotel grounds, at least not 2 yrs ago when we were there. I don't know about trains but I would assume buses run along the road outside as it's the main road out of Liverpool to get to Bootle. But the hotel itself was a great stay. Thanks for watching 👍

I was also a big fan of EC and Gene Vincent. I am 78 now and so fortunate to have been present with the birth of rock 'n roll. I got Be Bop a Lula on a 78 rpm record for Christmas. What a time for real music. Buddy Holly with Peggy Sue was incredible. Bill Haley, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, I could go on for hours. Thank you for this video as I knew how EC died but I was not aware of his popularity in England. I am a native Texan from Houston, hello to England.
