3:55-3:58 and 4:01-4:03 Jane’s ADORABLE ❤❤❤❤❤ This is my absolute favorite Jane moment in the whole film ❤❤❤❤❤ Everything in the room is going chaotically haywire, Michael’s scared out of his mind as he’s trapped in the closet, Mary Poppins is looking at the chaos with great concern, but Jane’s the most resilient one as she’s handling this chaos in the calmest, most beautiful way possible by dancing with those toy soldiers ❤❤❤❤❤ If ever we needed any proof that Jane has a beautiful heart, a wonderful soul, and a lovely outlook on life, this beautiful moment would be it ❤❤❤❤❤ The most beautiful Jane moment right here as she dances with those toy soldiers ❤❤❤❤❤ I LOVE watching Jane dance with those toy soldiers ❤❤❤❤❤ She is the sweetest for handling this chaotic situation in the most beautiful way possible ❤❤❤❤❤

I ❤ Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins. I love this song at A Spoonful of Sugar from Walt Disney’s Mary Poppins (1964).

OK I know this was made before Harry Potter but there's enough evidence to suggest Mary Poppins was a Hogwarts student & Jane & Michael are muggle borns. Mary's bag being bottomless was an extension charm & it is heavily implied Mary's best subject was Charms. And she was obviously capable of wandless and non verbal magic and was likely a prefect and head girl. She was also likely a Ravenclaw due to her wisdom, wit & intelligence, though she has traits of Hufflepuff such as her motherly traits. Notice how Jane and Michael are also able to do magic by snapping their fingers? That shows they are Muggle borns and it's suggested Jane like Hermione Granger is able to do magic quite easily as she was able to help Mary with only one snap while Michael took time to get hang of it. Plus both kids while laughing with Uncle Albert were able to float, as they cannot control their magic. While Mary could had been the headmistress of Hogwarts or Minister of Magic, she decided to live with muggles or Muggle borns.

This was the first movie I ever saw in the theaters at age eight and it just blew me away. The special effects of the actors interacting with cartoons and animatronics etc was way ahead of it's time. Also as a kid this was the first time I ever heard a British accent (I'm Canadian) and thought it was such a cool way of speaking English. Hearing Dick Van Dyke speaking Cockney rather than with his normal American accent also blew me away. Julie Andrews was and still is a very beautiful and talented woman.

"Well I'm the one who won the tickets!" "Well my mom's the one who's bailing us out!" "I lost Butter Queen, haven't I suffered enough?" Blanche and Dorothy should've both said: "Rose is the one who isn't going!"

Julie Andrews is a classic. "It depends on your point of view. You see, in every work that needs to be done. there is an element of fun. Find the fun, and presto! The job becomes game!" Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, in the most delightful way :)

One of my favourite clips because it has ALL of them. There are hundreds of Golden Girls clips that are brilliant, but its usually a two-hander or three round the table. Quite rare to have Betty, Bea, Rue and Estelle on screen in the same shot and doing something as fabulous as this.

Always loved the wink at 3:15 - saying as if "I'm only YOU." Like the childish side of herself she's ever so slightly put away.
