So you'll know this was not caused by an earthquake. It was a nuke detonated very close to the seafloor. The first one detonated by the U.S. in 2004 at the indian ocean killing over 300,000 people. The second one was detonated (tested) by china in 2011 at Japan's waters. Now russia has theirs called Poseidon. A nuclear detonation close to the sea floor converts over 90% of energy into kinetic energy which means massive earthquake and tsunami.

I watched over 170 hours of footage of this event in 2016, for my project and I haven't seen this particular angle at this location. The "popular" video was about 10-20 meters to the left along the cliff from this location. It would have been very helpful for the study of this horrible event to have multiple camera angles uploaded and preserved. As many of the orginal videos of this event were deleted in 2021. I have watched the google earth immages and street views since my study ended. Some places have been completely changed others abandoned and leveled to the ground. I want to visit these places one day, and send present day photos of the 45 places we studied to my professor.

If you know a tsunami is coming and that it has close to zero effect in deeper water why leave your ship/boat to be buggered up, rather than head out into deeper water...???

Only right that Bill Champlin was first and Dawayne Bailey was the last. They were important people to the Band. Their contributions cannot be denied. Bill stayed for almost 3 decades. While Dawayne stayed for 1 decade which was too short for his talents and abilities. The band should have maximize Dawayne Bailey especially that he brings the energy and style of the 90s onwards
