I just bought a 2002 Lincoln LS V8 I can only start it cold and runs about a couple to five miles and then it acts like it's running out of gas even though I know it's not out of gas so I checked the fuel pump and they told me it was new but one of the caps on the fuel line where you pinch the tabs together to remove it out of the fuel pump is missing the cap do you think that could be my issue?

2002 ls no power at the fuel pump plug bought the with out looking at it my boss said they said the fuel pump was bad but after getting and seeing what they did something told me to check for power there was none so i checked the fuse it was bad put a new one in it no power at the plug still went to the shut off switch it was up and unplugged so plugged it back in new fuse changed the relay and diod still no power can anyone help me out what im i missing

I just checked my Diode after a month of not being able to start it, even close to selling it lol. I tested it and no Voltage so I’m gonna order another and see if it works

A flex plate breaks because it “flexes” and over time the metal gets fatigued to the point of failure. Nothing to do with a serpentine belt failure.

you should see his "how to build a house" video. he dumps a load of lumber on a lawn, pours out a bucket of nails and says, "ok, that's about it".

If you spend about 8 dollars more at home Depot and know how to weld u make a slide hammer and weld it to the tap. Drop a penny in the cup to block off injector hole so no shavings go in from the tap saves having to do new head bolts and gaskets.

2000 Lincoln LS v8 new pumps new relays new fuses new diodes interia switch in the up position not depressed no power to pump tested each pin within 8 seconds on primary pump transfer/jet pump shows voltage without key in ignition Cranks good no start has spark with attempt to start with starter fluid so I know everything is working but the fuel What would you say is the problem, or concern?

If the fuse , relay , diod , ineritia shut off switch were all good an still had no power at the fuel pump , then what would you have done ? Fuse 17 15 amp powers the fuel pump relay which powers the rear electronic module , which powers the fuel pump .

You wasted money on a tap set for nothing if you have the head off all you had do was knock it out you tap it for when the head is bolted to the block then you thread the removal tool in and use a slide hammer to remove it was pointless to tap it

if your showing how to tighten box. show what you did and show tighten wheel after..we don't car bout what you doin to the truck

Not a very good video. If you're a beginner, how would you know how to release the pressure on the fuel pump. Waste of time.

Other than all the extra stuff about your truck which isn't related to the title, nice vid. I wasn't sure how to adjust these and my expedition had alot of play and the suspension joints are all good and tight. I gave this about 1/8 of a turn and steering is miles better. Just saved $300.
