They played songs from all the albums recorded so far, except "No prayer for the dying". Does anyone know the reason?

Mi tío me regalo la entrada para ir a verlos, viajamos 800Km, y yo tenía 11 años, solo conocía el Disco fear of the dark. Fue el día sin retorno para mí, desde ese momento Maiden fue mi religión. Lo único que lamento es tener el raciocinio de un nene-pre adolescente. No fui consiente de lo que estaba por presenciar. El retorno de Dickinson a la banda, el disco Brave New World (inspirados en unos de los libros que serían uno de mis favoritos en un futuro), además de presenciar Resurrection (quizás el mejor disco que lanzó Halford). Gracias tío querido en donde quieras que estes Q.E.P.D ♥

Até que o Blazer em 1995 chegava a bons tons mais altos. Pena que jogaram o cara aos leões, o set list das músicas poderiam ter sido escolhidos mais adequadamente ao seu tom de voz no decorrer das turnês.

Blaze was a great guy, humble and kind, but he was not the right singer for Maiden. Sad but true.

The should only have played the songs written for the Blaze albums. And played really small venues. 😊

Good concert, but they would have given Blaze more songs from his album, since they played difficult songs from the Dickinson era, at least they would have lowered Blaze's tone, however he could handle the challenge and I agree with the song "edge of Darknes" a great interpretation of Blaze, 100%.

Yes Blaze ist no Bruce Dickinson BUT : I think his darker voice tone fits the sound of iron maiden a bit better than Bruce...this is just my opinion . Some songs are written for the voice of Bruce (like Fear of the Dark or Hallowed be thy name for example) and for sure he cant sing these songs like Dickinson. But this lower voice fits so well into Maidens Style that iam sure if they had written 2 or 3 more Albums after VIRTUAL XI they would have been equally great as Number of the Beast, Powerslave or Piece of Mind.
