"Meet your maker" is a really good one by them. It's a single off of their newest album, and man, I tell ya. Anders still sounds amazing 30 years later. You said you're not big on harsh vocals, but his are really clean and clear in that song. (More so than in the older songs) And his singing is on point. Really melodic and catchy. Definitely worth the listen.

Only for the weak is one of my favourite In Flames songs. The Quiet Place is my favourite of theirs, and they put out a banger single for their newest album called Meet your Maker, and it's an amazing song. Definitely worth checking out.

Tells the story of a magician That one day in the enchanted forest he cried Because despite its magic She had not been able to find love The moon, your only friend She gave him strength to endure All the pain he felt Because of his long loneliness The thing is that he knew very well that in his life there He was never to leave his destiny If someone has to love you, you will already know You'll just have to know how to recognize it It was one afternoon that the magician Walking in the forest the sight crossed With the sweetest look That in his entire life he never knew From that very moment The fairy and the wizard wanted to be Just the two of us in the forest Loving each other always and everywhere And the evil that always existed, could not stand See so much happiness between two beings And with his hatred he attacked, until the fairy fell In that fatal dream of not feeling In his castle he passed The nights the magician searching for power That he would return his fairy His love, his look so sweet from yesterday And he hasn't stopped since then Looking for a way to recover To the woman who that day In the middle of the forest she was finally able to love And today she knows what love is, and that she will have Strength to withstand that spell He knows that one day he will see the sweet fairy of his arrive And forever with him it will stay

I saw this. I wanted to hear more than I'd heard on the radio and see if I'd ever wanna go to a show. As Ghost seems to be a very hyped band these days. I can say the musicians are top tier players and they make what they do look easy. Their sound makes me think of a blend of ABBA and Metallica. Pop leaning, yet heavy in parts, but some songs are lullaby like to me too (there's lots of keyboards at times). I actually dosed off a couple times during the movie, but the movie is pretty long and I was tired going in. There were more fans than I expected where I saw the movie, mainly because country music fans are abundant where I live. I did talk to some fans on the way out who said they traveled a ways to see the movie though. I noticed a lot of female fans and some couples, and like those in the movie, couldn't tell if the guys were fans of the band or there to support the girlfriends. But the fans were quieter than I thought they'd be as well. The fans I spoke to said the movie was very much the same show they'd seen in concert. So I'm glad I saw the movie instead, cause it wasn't really my cup of tea in the end.

I got a few concerts coming up...Sammy Hagar doing the Van Halen stuff in Aug, Falling In Reverse in Sept and Iron Maiden in Oct. I can't wait for my next ritual. The movie was great but there's nothing like seeing Ghost live. And I agree House of the Dragon has been fire this season already.

when you got Ghost, you have everything... except a full belly. lol the problem with really saucy burgers is the bun tends to soak it up, and when there's too much, it can become a KFJ (Knife and Fork Job) easily.

our Dutch pride Floor Jansen is a soprano, with an range of more than three octaves from C3 to F6. Her singing style varies from opera and clean singing to screaming and grunting. She usually sings in English, but she has also sung songs in Dutch, German, Spanish, Finnish, Latin, Italian and Swedish

To summarize what has been already told down here : Alan Wake (2 especially) is literally Twin Peaks the game with more horror and action. Old Gods of Asgard is a band whom the musicians changed their names to co-opt Scandinavians gods and actually used (before the saga's games) the power and inspiration from the entity hidden in Cauldron Lake. Unlike Alan Wake, their music and new identity have enabled them to keep their feet firmly on reality and commune with forces far beyond the standard world. Their characters have a whole lore and appear in various Remedy games (notably Control).

the only hope I have is now that ghost has finally done their first full show in Australia that they have found such a large trip to be worth their while logistically and financially and that they continue to tour here for each album cycle. I have had a taste of the live rituals now and i really dont want to miss out when they start touring again. I have never in my life experienced anything like it.

Fellow RGV native here! I went and watched RHRN 3 times in Harlingen (my nearest cinema). I watched it Saturday with me, my bf, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Monday night I watched it just me and my bf and today me & my mom and both days we were the only ones in the cinema!!! It was so nice because I could just sing to my hearts content. An amazing movie and I cannot wait for it to come out to streaming / DVD. I remember your post in the RGV subreddit about the dates and we even had a brief convo on the thread! I saw your video pop up and realized you were the same person I spoke to previously!!! I'm so glad you loved it as well and you've gained a new subscriber! <3

@@AndyCrimson this was a really hard question to answer! I loved the entire movie but I think I just have to go with when Respite on the Spitalfields plays. I loved it when they played it at the rituals I went to, I love the added vocals especially from the ghoulettes. It is so perfect, and every time I listen to Respite now I choke up a little.
