Those spots are simply a VERY crappy job when smelting the .01 of copper/silver and failing to adequately blend the liquid. All they had to do was run the pot hot enough to melt the silver & copper into the gold.

How would you care for a dug coin that comes out of the ground with caked-on dirt? A step by step process from the dig to display would be helpful.

If a coin is carefully cleaned, it will be more desirable than a dirty coin regardless of the value or rarity.

I agree with you on so many levels, except one and that could be because I haven't stacked as long as you or put in as much. I kind of did what you said about selling your nicer pieces for more weight BUT the way I did it was go to my LCS and trade a bunch of uglier.... poorly toned or just ones that I could care less bout, considered that weight, weight I accumulated when I started stacking and silver price was well below 10 bucks of what it is now and traded em out for s couple super sweet, very limited mintage 10 ounce rounds/coin-like objects that are just stunningly beautiful to look at compared to ANOTHER tube of various whatnot...I went more for visual appeal, since that has always been what I loved most about silver anyway, just the way it looks, why not treat myself. I like to treat myself and when I do, I make it silver. I always found gold a bit...not me. I have never been rich or privileged in any way, lived on bare minimum for my entire life, gold is too....bling. too "rich", just too 'not me' my great grandfather was the last silversmith of his kind in Toronto and then everything he made became machined. I didnt even find that out until I was a few years into stacking, so I think there is a gene inherited maybe. but I love me some silver. I did however make it my goal for 2025 to get to an ounce of gold as well as keep stacking silver. I am going to go by whatever pay dictates that week, one ounce of silver and a half gram, gram or tenth ounce gold? 2 ounces silver? half gram gold? no matter what, every pay will include silver, and how much that particular pay is will determine how much gold I get, but it is my goal and I achieve my goals :) anyway, great channel, great episode as always. all the best to you and yours over the holidays, rest of the year and years ahead :)

5:55 he also charged you for 6 10 oz silver bars instead of the 4 you got Edit: I finished the video, and you never noticed, but in the top left of the receipt, it shows the quantity and he had you at 6 bars. Hope you go back and get that sorted and either get your money back or your 2 extra bars.

I wish Costco didn't blacklist shipping to Louisiana. I'm not sure why because a year ago they did but in the last 6 months Louisiana and Arizona are no goes for Costco. But I was like, don't worry you live less than a mile from a Costco warehouse. Nope, no bullion products are available. I talked to the warehouse manager, and they said they have had quite a few people looking for it, But cannot get it. That's how I found out about the Louisiana and Arizona thing. I'm temped to have it shipped to my father's house in FL. That would give me a reason to visit the Coin Guy. Louisiana is a tax exempt state for all bullion purchases.

I was on WhatNot this past week and bought what was advertised as sterling silver. Spent a good amount on 5 chains and a pendant, but the pendant was missing from the package. Upon further inspection, I tested the chains on a magnet, but the chains stuck on pretty good so I knew they weren't silver. I filed a claim with WhatNot last night stating these were fake sterling silver. We'll see how it goes. But hopefully WhatNot will take my word for it. I sent pictures to them too.

Even with the small dips, price is too high, premiums are too high. I still buy the small dips, but in very small amounts. In the past 3 months I have bought ten ASE and one 20 Franc Swiss Gold Coin. I must qualify my statement: my stacks are complete, it is gravy from this point forward to add to them.

Schlitz Beer was made in Milwaukee, WI and was popular in the Midwest. I don’t “think” you can get it any longer. Had a few sips when I was a kid (born in 1966). I heard it was horrible beer! Lol
