We see the best of humanity this time of year. If we could all just help each other out, and stop the hate the world would be a better place. Thanks for the wonderful video speg. It is better to give than receive. If you don’t believe me, you just haven’t tried it. Give back what you can and your life will be blessed.

Except when He was more likely born near the Harvest Festival week (Sept). You're confusing the Catholics fusing Russian Norse Babylonian and other pagan holidays into the winter solstice time of year.

At work a customer pulled out change. I heard a nice sound. The customer had a one ounce gold piece. He said he just carries it around. 😱 Merry Christmas to all here.🖖

Neat, somebody around our town in Vermont has been doing this for the last 10 years or so, a gold coin in the salvation army bucket.

I cant speak for everyone else but if I had gold coins I wouldn't accidentally drop it in a donation bucket lol it was probably some old lady or guy who had a few and felt generous OR maybe someone who inherited a collection and thought they would do something charitable :)

I remember reading about a story. Some guy would tend $1000 worth coin, and he would buy it back on a charity auction. He did that for a two or three years before the media caught on and exposed him. I think that happened back in the early 2000s, I have a vague memory of it though.

Would be awesome if the coin actually went towards helping those in need. Salvation Army like 90% of "charities" only end up using about 10% of donations to help others. The rest goes to Salvation Army. Same as the Paralized Vets clothing drop boxes. The Paralized Vets license their name out to clothing re sellers like Gabriel brothers and such. So most pf those clothes go to the store for re sale and thats after the collection drivers pick through everything and take all the best stuff for themselves. This 100% happens, i know a few different drivers. I still donate to both groups but best to give directly if possible and help someone in need out directly

I'd like to know why the article uses the word 'rare'.
@Spegtacular7 күн бұрын
I imagined that someone who didn’t know coins or precious metals heard “thousands of dollars” and decided it must be rare

I've been hesitant to donate to the Salvation Army since their racism pamphlet scandal years ago. It is nice to see people helping each other, though. Merry Christmas, folks! 🌟🎄👼

Do a follow up video on where the gold coin actually ends up.😮 Every year someone or more than one person donates a gold coin. I would be surprised if it didn't end up in the salvation army slush fund.😮 Patiently waiting for the follow up video.

Maybe it wasn't donated at all. Tell people it was then everybody will donate theirs. More money 💰 😊

I’m doubtful that it’s real, has the coin been verified authentic? So many fakes in the market
