Absolutely love these educational, technical analysis type videos! ❤❤❤❤ please make more! I know you've covered every topic known to Jade but maybe a video about Indonesian Jade? They have nephrite jade that is green, white and even blue! And they have cats eye Jade and apparently they even have Jadeite. Worth looking into for some video content!

@@JustinTheJadeCarver Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoy the channel! I would love to do a video all about Indonesian jade. The closest I have right now is a video called Where Does Jade Come From? Ft Freshwater Jade where I show some examples of Indo jade. But the material deserves a deep dive at some point for sure

I have seen Guatemalan jade with great translucency and sometimes there are small spots that, if isolated, could be called "water jade" it's usually only small spots that I find. Good enough to incorporate into bigger pieces. But too small to be worth trying to make into a "water jade" piece of jewelry. If that makes sense.

Dang, I missed the LIVE again...sorry. Excellent information here, as always, Jordan! WOW - those pieces from Mason-Kay are so gorgeous!!! I LOVE water jade...I go, firstly, for translucency and, next, for color. I have three pieces of Guatemalan water jade (from Jesse) in the form of a jaguar tooth/claw and several little cabochons...all with amazing translucency. I love how water jade glows from within! That first ring you showed from Mason-Kay is dreamy!!!!! Thanks for your wonderful channel...I learn so much from you! 💗💗💗

Rock hounding is fun but most people don't understand that it's the lapidary carving skills where most of the value is added. There are all types of minerals and aggregate rocks that have ability to get value by skilled lapidary techniques. It's not likely to become wealthy or highly successful just collecting rocks. You do it as a hobby to enjoy your rock collection. Respect the land, don't get caught poaching. You might disappear!

If you don't have an example about the color of jade cudnt u have found one on Google an put it in the video instead of jus saying a description of w.e specific type but then say "I don't personally have one in my collection so I can't show ya this one" I feel like finding a pic on Google and making an Xtra slide or two on the video might have been easier and understood then a nicely articulated description.... js if u would have had all example for every color/shade all in all it was good video but maybe try using some of the newer AI programs coming out for video editing if might do the trick
