Why would you ruin stock with these modern gimmicks. Sometimes progress isn't necessary. Give me a cassette player any day. In fact I wouldn't buy this car if it didn't come stock with a radio cassette

THANKS FOR THE VIDEO! Changed my switch covers today. FIRST, I pulled the positive terminal off the battery, so no worry about the airbag going off by accident. I also removed the airbag, easy enough if you watch one of the videos on removing the steering wheel. => If you pull the airbag, DO NOT test the new switches with airbag wiring disconnected, you may get a constantly ON airbag light that's difficult to shut off. For me, removing the plastic clips that hold the switches was the most difficult part, until I got out a long, thin, flat-blade screwdriver. I pulled away the rear plastic shroud a few inches, to gain access. After that, it was easy to slip the screwdriver blade UP from the bottom, and under the clips, twist the blade, and the clips released. CHEERS !

Hey guys! Thank you so much for watching/interacting with this video over the years! Unfortunately, I just sold this car yesterday...so I don't have her anymore. It was fun but I needed a bigger family vehicle for the growing family. So I bought a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Limited! As nice as this testly style screen was...nothing beats the latest tech in today's car...just made me wonder why I waited so long and I had to put up with the stuff from this screen from time to time. But yeah...I don't have it anymore...so I really wouldn't be able to give updates or answer questions. It did work from the start all the way till i traded it...I made sure to restore it to factory and got my accounts out of there. Speaking of accounts, thats another danger to this car because if you logged in to your google, facebook etc. accounts and sombody steals the car or another person drives it, friend, mechanic, vallet...that have access to your stuff so that's a big no no that I was living with the past few years. The new cars, you get in with android auto or apple car play and your information doesn't stay in the vehicle. Anyways..rant over...lol! Thanks for the support!

Seauto Seal is Junk. 1st one lasted 2 months. Replacement lasted 1 month. They need to issue a recall on their motors that they use. The Beta is a workhorse.

Did you have to buy the wire harness and everything separately to make it work?

Hey so how were you able to get the climate control to work? I’m in the 2008 es350, but I’m told there’s no way to change out my head unit without completely messing up the controls for Ac.

A thin shanked (jeweler's) screwdriver will lock down the screws without off/on..off/on..etc. No need to crank em down either.

I've used the dye and I love it! I wish that I had seen this video prior to dyeing my seat because I was unaware that this company also makes a filler. I have basically the same seat as in the video only in dark gray. The perforated section of the leather has a few deep cracks between the perforations. I've been told that it means that they are getting ready to crack open. The dye really softens the leather so hopefully that will give me more time.

Coming back to say thank you for this video! It took me a lil min to build up the confidence to do it but I finally changed out my buttons today with your video as a step by step! My steering wheel looks nice again! If a 30 something year old woman can do this, anyone can! Lol I will add for anyone that wants to do this, I used a torx T30 bit in my drill to loosen those torx screws! I don’t think I could have done it by hand because it took a lot of force! And I needed a smaller Philips head for the 3 little screws behind the button itself but I had almost all the tools. The only thing I had to go buy was the torx T30 bit which I got from Home Depot for under $6! I also didn’t unplug my battery. Just turned the car off. And used a flat head screw driver to loosen the clips holding the button in OUTWARD.

You connected both of the crossover capacitors in series. The tweeter has 5.6uf and the mid is 47uf but since you wired it in series the total capacitance both speakers will get filtered is ~52uf at 8 ohms which may have brought the cutoff way lower and has/had the possibility of blowing the tweeter
