i owned both of these lights. i bought the olight mini first but after i keep seeing reviews about the olight blowing up, i went and bought the streamlight tl-7a for peace and mind even though i know the olight i have will probably never blow up on me but since there has been records of it blowing up on other folks i figure i'll play it safe and switch it out for the streamlight. the streanlight is better quality imo any ways.
