I know this was posted a while ago but hope to get a response i want to do this as have nothing but problems with my air suspension have had new compressor new bags new level sensors new ecu air control module the black thing lol about 6 inches long got two relays in it and still got problems especially if i boot it... Its a 4.4 v8 petrol im from uk but will these be okay for clearance on wheels as mine has 22inch alloys 305/40/22 i thought the size of wheels may be last resort of it causing problems but put original wheels back on and does the same

If you have all those new parts already invested id honestly just keep trying to find the issue. It'd be a shame spending all that money to convert to (inferior) coils at the end. What is yours doing?

@HangarGaraj indeed! But wouldn't the ranger body be abit narrow for a crown vic frame? Didn't some of the Motor Trend Boys ( RIP ) make what they called the " Crown Hick " and it was an F series ute body on top of a crown vic?

hello my friend, I would like to give you an idea so that you can also have reverse gear, or a differential Gomex makes such gearboxes, they are of course intended for variator but with a conversion you can use it, or if you want to have a chain drive, you can use a converter, Paggio Ape has one like that, chain in, chain out, only you make a long iron pipe, which presses the gear for forward and reverse, the rotation remains the same, of course I don't know if it allows high speed for Gomex I can say that it has a gear for forward ==0== reverse, you can find these used for small cars, moped cars, that is Casalini, Aixam, Liegir, microcar, all these brands have the same gearbox, because the speed is the same, 50km/h but without the vario it can also work faster or with a fast vario

Thanks @HangarGaraj. My conversion went well; nice ride. Lost special programs but kept HI/LO and DESCENT function. At 3:39 you note that power steering becomes heavier after pulling fuses. I also am experiencing that. Any fixes or forums that you can recommend to bring full power steering function back? Thanks.

Glad to hear the conversion went well! Unfortunately I never found a way to bring the power steering back to normal but I'll admit I didn't try very hard to find a solution as the heavy steering didn't bother me, but hopefully you're able to find something!
