I'm excited to see where you take this amazing treasure of a find! 😀

I'll watch your follow-up videos about this camper. However I wanted to say that a couple years ago I bought a mid 1980's slide-in truck camper in great shape, but with all those old colors. I completely painted the interior and exterior, put in new floor tiles, new bed mattress, new kitchen back splash, and added two 150w solar panels on the roof. It now looks and smells brand new. Your new camper would be an excellent project to do the same. Great buy, except it's a Ford, LOL.

That sounds like a fun project, and I'm glad it turned out well! Hopefully I can replicate yours, even if it's a ford haha

You should do a overnight camp in your new-to-you F-350 camper. Would be fun to see.

Great find, and never mind what that commentor said about not testing. What's done is done, no point in hollering at you. I would've done the same thing ,more than likely! Anyway, im looking forward to seeing what happens with it. I would suggest that you try to keep it as original as possible, it's such a time capsule and if you decide to resell it, original will be more valuable.

I would change the floor to metal, and Rhino lined it like crazy. Also, ozone deodorizer leave in there for a day change engine if possible or modification possible. Repainted it

I can't believe that thing fired up so good after sitting for that long. I don't think my 1985 460 powered RV runs that good.

Tengo unas preguntas. A quien le pertenece ese camper ? Se veía que no estaba muy abandonado. Que digamos está muy bonito y muy completo
@clarkleakins8794 ай бұрын
You are brave, or silly, testing those unnecessary systems, before a full tune up evaluation. Did you check the radiator level before driving? Transmission, power steering, brake fluid before driving? Great that it all seems to be complete. Tear apart that ventilation system! You don't want mouse poop virus! Get that radiator professional clean med, leak and pressure tested. Its the heart of the engine durability. (The AC needs upgrade/rebuild to newer "freon".) Have the brake fluid completely flushed, and system rebuilt. Monster time project. Should last decades with good care.
@HangarGaraj4 ай бұрын
Won't dispute the silly allegation 😅 but I did check the coolant, brake fluid, bled the brakes, checked trans fluid, and checked for leaks before I took it on the road. And yes I agree the radiator and brakes will be gone through soon, as well as the ventilation system 😅
