@samwelch7328 I promise I didn't, I'm trying to be as objective as possible. I want to see the Padres and mariners make it but it's just not realistic. The padres don't have the best track record against the dodgers or the phillies and no matter what they would have to play one of them or both and it's just hard to say they have when they need to make it.

@aKulex I think I'd pay money to hear him call the opening broadcast to game one. But it just makes sense if the teams continue. Right now, I feel the Royals slipping up these last couple series so I guess I have concerns there. I wasn't expecting for them to get swept by Detroit.

@AlexAlmonte-dm3rf You are missing the point. He has had a great season but jas cooled off. Since September 7th, he is batting .200/.385/.425 with 15 Strikeouts with only 8 hits in 40 at bats. It's not good. If he can explode back to his norm in October then you maybe right. But he hasn't ever been a playoff star. .261 average in the playoffs which is well below his career average. So you can expect him to go 1-4 in the playoffs if he shows up like 2019 and 2022.

That little girl got hit because of the corrupt attitude of the MLB and all the team owners. For decades balls have been hitting that area of the stadium and all that has ever been done is for the TV station to make a joke/fun/humour out of it by making comments of how the person was able to avoid the ball or how the person had great reactions in catching the ball. Not once did any of them entertain the fact that a high percentage of balls were being foul hit into dangerous areas of the stadium. All they did was see it as 'entertainment'. Rather than be pro-active and realise there is a problem that needs to be solved, the MLB and club owners took the attitude of if it doesn't happen we do not need to take action. It took a near death experience of a little girl getting hit by a 100mph ball for the MLB and club owners to act. Even to this day not every club owner has acted in putting up protective netting. It just goes to show how disgraceful the MLB and team owners are for not making it a mandatory requirement because in 2019 they all talked and came to a 'voluntary' commitment. There is no rule that forces club to extend their safety netting because the evidence is very clear not all clubs have extended their netting.

I saw this happen live on tv. I was at my sister’s wedding rehearsal dinner at Martin’s Barbecue in Spring Hill, Tennessee. We had a private room reserved at the restaurant for the dinner and there was a television on the wall. At one point we flipped over to the Astros vs Cubs game and I remember seeing this particular thing happen while I was eating a chopped beef sandwich. At first I couldn’t tell what had happened but when I saw the replay that’s when I knew that the little girl got hit by the ball, and Almora’s reaction afterwards confirmed it. I felt so bad for him and I’m glad that the security guard was there to comfort him while he was crying… scary stuff

You’re telling me this poor girl has had to suffer seizures for years after the incident, and we don’t even know if she’s healthy now? Here’s a crazy revolutionary idea, don’t drag your child with you in places , just because you wanna go there. Either find someone to take care of your kid while you’re seeing the game or just prioritize your baby. A two year old gets discomfort and confusion at best in this environment. At worst, it gets fucking _this_

I am to judge who is a bad parent by understanding the fact that good parents keep their children from dangerous situations. If they bring them into a dangerous situation, they are diligent to protect their child. These parents failed twice. Three times if you consider the seats they chose. Therefore, they are bad parents and are solely responsible for what happened to their baby. That is not even considering the fact that a child that young is not forming any core memories as they are not cognitively developed to do so. That is common sense if you have any ounce of logic in you. Don't come at me with nonsense.
