I have been reaallly struggling with my Vtubing and gaming recently and I cannot figure out why. I have capped at 60FPS and have even capped my vtuber at around 30FPS. I have a 3080 and a Ryzen 9 5900x, but often times I start out okay and then it suddenly tanks my frames and my frames don't come back. I have to completely restart the game and risk dropping frames again or, drop my vtuber and restart the game. It's been driving me crazy. OBS is set to hardware encoding and I've tried googling all kinds of different thing. I've uninstalled and completely reinstalled drivers. . I'm so frustrated ;o; And it makes me want to give up Vtubing even though I've enjoyed it. . I've even removed excess tasks in my processes and set GPU priorities and still have had any luck. If you have any tips I would try anything. My RAM never goes above 50% but there are even times where my GPU hits 90% but tanks my Frame even if I'm not running at 95%+ of my GPU or I'm maxing out GPU and CPU power. Frustrattteeee. And I'm usually having to drop down to 1080P and still run into issues. (noting that these go away when I am not streaming and vtubing :[ )

To clarify its a PATENT lawsuit, none of the designs are considered close or plagiarisms by lawyers What theure suing over is mechsnics, i believe one of which is the mechsnic of throwing catching devices onto assets... So throwing pokeballs and catching them in 3D space

To that last bit, I've been telling my roommate this for years. He just doesn't care. He thinks that spending less on a console and getting to play the same game every year is worth it for his money/time. He's also stuck on watching Starwars, LotR, and Friends only.

to be fair, lawsuits can take tons of time and evidence getting AND quadruple confirming if they're right to sue. seeing/playing, palworld's base launch was fun to see everything that looked similar to pokemon characters, and i guess i was hoping this would give pokemon incentive to do better with their games... but then i realized... the pokemon themselves arent the reason gamefreak is getting repetitive, its the graphics, handholding and sometimes story with a STUPID 75 dollar price tag. palworld ripping off the designs IS a real problem gamefreak should sue over because they are actively STILL ripping long established characters from game freak. i do also think the reason why theyre sueing now is because palworlds recent raid pal is literally a mega gardevoir, and seeing as pokemon legends ZA is bringing back megas, theyre looking at the backlogs and seeing the final nail in the koffin..g

Also if you're on the "top" shift and immediately switch to first gear youll do something stupid called money shift

there's one more even advanced way to do this with a dual PC setup, you can eliminate lag completely by using a capturecard on your gaming pc, and have your gaming laptop or desktop connected to it,effectively making it seen in your OBS as a display while it doesnt have any impact on performance as the feed goes through the capture card instead of your GPU, i just then run the software on a seperate window with a greenscreen and now i can also use my gaming laptop to browse the web for songs etc and all the sounds come through the HDMI to my gaming pc, so if youre feeling really extra you could also run discord etc on the laptop too taking even more load of the gaming pc, allowing it to stream and run the game only. while the gamign laptop runs everything else.

Can you have two png tubers on each computer and record both sides? Such as recording my Minecraft with my son?

Addendum: ARRIS makes great Modems too! Also, don't forget to check for firmware updates in your ISP's equipment while you're logged in. might help fix some things too. Cheers!

Does tweeking any settings in OBS help frame rate drop?

Update: NDI is NOT supported for OBS ver. 28 at the current moment. if you are on that version, this tutorial will not work. I will update once the plugin is updated. Thanks!
