These do exist in America. The reason we don’t have them widely available is because we have the space not to. Also they don’t fully dry your clothes most of the time and you can only do super small loads. Last, idk about you but over half the clothes I own would be ruined in months if I tumble dried them every time I washed them. Even t shirts can have prints start peeling and cracking over time if you aren’t careful about heat and keeping them inside out.

They are here in the UK, but they are not overly popular. They cost more to run, as when using the dryer, you are not just drying the clothes, but also the drum of the machine.

@@billiexnewlandthat could be repaired, though, instead of trashed. You literally said you got them two weeks ago. One visit to a tailor and that could be fixed. They could even take them out for you if they were too small. It’s just sad to see when clothing waste is one of the biggest pollutants on earth.

@@jellieshu i dont disagree with that. however, given im traveling and the cost for me to go repair them was going to cost more than the pants itself, was going to take over a week to repair (at which point im changing locations) it wasnt worth it. even if donated, no one is going to wear pants with a broken zipper.
