I left church more than a decade ago because my experience was so unhealthy. But I'm going through that deconstruction and questioning phase with the panic attacks that Rosie mentioned. God kind of feels like something that's made up, but I'm also spiritually lost without the church community I spent 20+ years immersed in. Feels like I've been unplugged from a Matrix. I'm glad that this awesome woman found meaning and hope so she could heal from her traumatic experiences ❤

Powerful!!! So true about keeping your eyes on God. We truly pray with you, and we know God will keep His promises. Also remember, when you are weak, He is strong. And currently, in your weakness, you are shining brightly God's glory. May He use you, may He bless you. Ps. Last note, I can remember going to a scan with my first pregnancy, and I was so scared of what the outcomes possibly could be. On that Sunday our pastor said something profound: "Change your "what ifs" into "even ifs." And somehow I felt does not matter the outcome, with God my journey will be so much more doing it with Him rather than without Him. God bless. vanuit Suid Afrika - Baie liefde en seenwense.

SO AWESOME... Amelia your testimony is amazing and God is definitely showing off as we say at times. Such an amazing woman and Dr. She and her father were with us on our journey when my wife was pregnant with our blessings being triplets. God put them on our path, her father for during the pregnancy and Amelia for after their birth. God knew he gave us the best when we needed and listening to you now is just so awe inspiring. May God continue to bless and heal you and use you for His purpose. Much love from the McDonald family in SA.

Great discussion about pornography and sex. I believe a large percentage of Christians struggle with pornography addiction according to some research I’ve done. My parents were of the good / bad era so I struggled with how to talk to my kids about sex and intimacy and didn’t handle it well. So wonderful for parents to have some guidance. The discussion on fasting was excellent. I’ve often thought about a retreat at a monastery about an hours drive from my home. It’s hard to find the time and space to fast and spend extended time with God. Perhaps that should be on my bucket list 😊

Awesome. It reminded me of a situation about 25 years ago. I was working as a nurse in women’s health screening and attended training facilitated by a reputable female doctor for public health nurses working in schools. She was talking about teaching 13 years up about using condoms to protect themselves from pregnancy and infection. I said something like, ‘it bothers me that you are normalising having sex to such young girls. We should be teaching them to respect themselves and empowering them to say no.’ There was silence and then, totally ignoring me she continued on. I felt a real chilliness from them all. Incredibly sad that Government, schools and health professionals are in such a hurry to teach our kids that it is normal to have sex. Thanks for sharing and God bless you for the impact you are having on young lives.

Lets see if Victoria actually stay away from OF also btw...Money talks..* and working a 80-100 hours a week - why is that ideal or impressive? You're gonna work your health away and burn out. Jesus (lol), relax a little from time to time. Nobodys gonna care much in the end wether you worked so much and didnt take one sick day off. Im serious, but go ahead work yourself to an early grave

Yes of (pun intended*) course! You're not a genius pointing this out - its just cause you're a woman saying it - we men, cant say it cause we'll get shut down and called toxic or insulting. However good someone (you) at least talk about it
