It wasn’t the line that was the issue. The lure was still stuck in the fish, and when it wiggled it pulled away from his hand. Billy is a fishing guide, was a pro-angler, and has fished since he was 5. I’m sure he knows what he’s doing.

Have you tried our jerkbait? Copper Red Baits Jonah 1:17 is a slow sinking model. I believe it gets more bites.

While fighting, probably not, but a good jump is good for video. Upon hookset, I think you’ll get a better hook in the best part of the fish by going upward.
