Yeah man. Should be using pliers. Theres tension on the line. Itll snap back at you once you free your hook and accidentally hook your eye possibly
@FlippinTheScriptFishingКүн бұрын
I can agree with that, and he does everything grab the pliers. You can see that in the full video…this is only a snippet of the long video.

DUDE ALWAYS ALWAYS UNhook the fish with an open bale please
@FlippinTheScriptFishingКүн бұрын
What difference would that have made? The lure was still stick to the fish.
@BleeeeedКүн бұрын
Jus pull it out tf you tryna not hurt the fish jackass
@FlippinTheScriptFishingКүн бұрын
😂 well done. I didn’t think someone could expose themselves for having no clue so quickly…I stand corrected! Great way to warp your hooks and lose fish the rest of the day! Who’s racing to unhook a fish and why?!? 😂
@mvd2vwКүн бұрын
It is always safer to give yourself more slack to be able to work on the fish comfortably ... but who are we to judge? we all have made that mistake
@FlippinTheScriptFishingКүн бұрын
It wasn’t the line that was the issue. The lure was still stuck in the fish, and when it wiggled it pulled away from his hand. Billy is a fishing guide, was a pro-angler, and has fished since he was 5. I’m sure he knows what he’s doing.
@NopeRope84Күн бұрын
Nice fish 👍🏻
@FlippinTheScriptFishingКүн бұрын
Thanks. The video was more about how my buddy, Billy, nearly got hooked as he was unhooking the fish, but thank you. Every fish is a fun one to catch!

Just a question but is there any advantage to keeping the rod tip up so high while fighting? I usually try and lean over to the side and keep my rod low to try and prevent jumping
@FlippinTheScriptFishing15 күн бұрын
While fighting, probably not, but a good jump is good for video. Upon hookset, I think you’ll get a better hook in the best part of the fish by going upward.
