This little doc has a 1970s feel about it. The film quality, commentary etc. The invitation to go to the website at the end took me completely by surprise!

A lovely film. Great to see the Piece Hall as it was in all its glory and the other parts of this town of history.

Love the brass band music! Not sure about the uncredited narrator. The name of the architect of the Town Hall was Charles Barrie not Barney!

@@padraicodomhnall2711 Aye, it's amazing what's going on in there these days. Concerts from famous bands, which can be heard as far as Illingworth at times, more TV appearance thanks to MARVEL using it as one of their 'Secret Invasion' series' locations, among many regular events that have helped fill more of the stores again

I have moved away from Halifax and this is how I would like to remember it, not the ever worsening pit that it has now become like most West Yorkshire towns, thanks

great documentary, apart from the w tower story, if you know your halifax history, which you appear to, you will know this is a myth.
