Is it just me or does Tony look like Dickey Betts?

Tony's family and Dickey Betts family were actually friends. Tony's brother Larry , who played mandolin, joined Dickey Betts band for a while back in the day.

By a landslide, Ralph Emery was the worst interviewer in the history of entertainment. Bar none. Never has someone been given so much limelight and power as a host and has been this devoid of charisma and staying power, perhaps even before or since.

Fair enough question. Flat picking is a technique. Jimmy Page uses a flat pick, but he isn't a flat picker. Seemed like they both were rude to each other...of course, there is zero context to the original clip. Grabbing the pick out of his hand seemed wrong or rehearsed. I've seen the British rock groups Humble Pie and The Who act super rude to show hosts. perhaps it's an anti-establishment schtick.

I can't get enough of Elvis, Scotty and Bill in the VERY BEGINNING. . .when it was all getting "started" and kept changing the Elvis "style" NAME and ending up being called Rock N' Roll :) :) :)

A absolutely beautiful John Arnold guitar and the playing is fantastic, but the quality of the recording is very sub par as to the true sound of such a wonderful guitar. The microphones where over driven.
