This has a double symbolism: 1 Paul is manipulating the crowd through the superstition instilled by the missionaria protectiva over the years 2 those are the voices of his ancestors/the bene gesserit who have lived before telling him what to say. (Thats how he knows the episode of the fremen's grandmother and the other things. Its not magic, its prescience and shared memory) Such a touch of class.

Look at Jessica’s reaction when Paul said his name was Paul … Atreides, for a slightest moment, I can feel she forgot all about the political attempt and remembered Duke Leto Attreides and his image in their son

everything about this scene is gorgeous. alucards hair animation goes so hard, i love how they updated his design while keeping details like the little flyaways around his forehead. i think it’s interesting that even in just a few lines he manages to sound older and even more existentially tired than before, but also more sure of himself, like “yeah whatever been there done that.” unrelatedly i love how the vampires react with pure OH SHIT the second he says his name… even if humans have forgotten him he’s still legendary among vampires. the man who killed dracula.

Watching Pauls introduction in Part I as an awkward, softspoken teenager and then coming back to this speech is just awesome! One of the most brilliant character arcs ever put to screen and incredibly acted!!
