health doesnt regen but you can still use water faucets and campfires to heal up inbetween encounters. Extremely helpful in the early game where bandages are scarce.

Dead island is a horror game, so is call of duty zombies, plus re5 and 6 too it doesnt need to be scary to be 'horror' we have action and comedy horror titles in movies which arent scary at all but they still fit under the horror genre like shaun of the dead. So many b movie styles horror films aren't scary at all, but they are horror thanks to the gore. A lot of zombie movies in general never really scared me but they are still horror franchises, horror doesnt mean boring stuff like paranormal activtiy thats the most lamest type of horror tbh and the equivalent in video games are all the walking sim horrors like p.t.

Controversial opinion: I don’t think they should put a “proper” sandbox mode in the deluxe edition. Without having to worry about time management. It takes a lot, if not most of the fun and replayability in Dead Rising. That was one of the worst editions they put in Dead Rising 4. With all the time in the world, you kind of just realize how little there really is to do in the game.

I played it on 360 in 06 and again in PS4 in 2017. The game is just…fine. It’s really not great at all. No reason to remake this at all.

I have no problem with the Autosave however it would be a big missed opportunity to not bring a "Classic mode" with one save, bathroom saves only and make the AI weaker to compensate for them being better 😂
