I grew up with Winnie the Pooh's Rumbly Tumbly Adventure. As a kid, that game is actually magical, and atmospherically it's incredible. You have to understand how much being able to explore the hundred acre wood actually means to a little kid who loves Winnie the Pooh. Sorry but I think maybe your expectations were too high for that one; most kids or Winnie the Pooh fans really aren't going to mind the more underwhelming location. It's a fine game, I get you're probably doing the youtuber thing and playing up how bad you think it is but it really doesn't deserve the be lambasted so badly. Also, there was a Gameboy Colour game called "Pooh and Tigger's Honey Safari" which is actually a better platformer than Honey Hunt is.

This wasn't the only Humongous Entertainment title ported by Runecraft, they also ported Backyard Soccer to the PS1 as well. There was also console ports of some Backyard Sports games that were either developed by Humongous themselves or a different developer entirely.

This game gets a ten out of ten from me since not only did I grow up with it, but also since I'm a fan of Monty Python. Not to mention that there are TONS of voice acting veterans starring in this game.

Also, Ikue Otani WAS in Detective Pikachu, voicing the bits where Pikachu was in a non-talking state. Also, according to a production member, Otani actually visited rehearsals at one point, so that was nice. And I believe that Maddie Blaustein was present at the first showing.

Having been an extra for 10 days in a local musical, my respect for the craft has only grown, from exhaustive rehearsals to the final preformance, I cherish every moment that I had, and if I have a chance I would do it again.

Actually... The Sir Blaze of the game in fact was full of similar gay innuendo if youre looking closely at it. Remember he denied Flicker taking Flicker on as his squire saying "Oh Id love too dear boy but Im Waaay over my squire quota!" Also although Blaze in the show was a standard gay guy stereotype, Ive met a few lgbtq fantasty nerds who loved the character anyways. He existed back before 'queerbating' became an actual cruel marketing strategy. And although he was a clown cooked up by probably straight writers, he was featured as a hero character and that was meaningful.

In reality you still need a 3ds too. If you want to do the complete story legally, and that’s kind of crazy to think that I was able to do that.

I absolutely love blazing dragons! Whether it be the game or the cartoon series! I don't agree with avoiding the cartoon series as it is very humorous and has a lot of Monty Python -eque humor! In some weird ways, the cartoon is a nice way of getting people into the game so they know the source material. I watched a very shitty recording of the Musical a few years ago. Appearently it was the last full recording and was uploaded by the Producer himself, because he thought it was worth preserving. So, the Camera was not very good und pretty far away, I could barely make out the characters, everything was overlit. However, I watched the whole show, beginning to end. It wasn't Shakespeare, of course, but it was pretty good.

watching this video post-psychonauts2 really shows how much heart has been put into psychonauts ever since the beginning , and i think you saying that psychonauts has some of the most empathetic cast is true . no one in the universe is 100% mentally well but nobody truly is and the whole video i think covers what makes psychonauts as a whole just a great game

this cartoon is no doubt flawed however in retrospect, i'm kind of glad it exists since i got into donkey kong in my childhood i always wanted a donkey kong movie or TV show of some sort so this show is basically an answer to prayer...now with the success of the recent super mario bros movie chances are we MAY get a donkey kong country movie....but if it's anything like the mario movie then i probably shouldn't expect much from it

Really nice breakdown of your thoughts around this! Watching this gave me some thoughts of my ow that I'd like to share. I do miss the edge that you describe in a sense. The first KH game had these dark undertones like you described, and I think chain of memories, KH2 and Days built towards that edge in a nice, gradual way. I also believe that the insults ("You gonna cry?") Sora uses could be described as his inner turmoil with Roxas having joined his heart. I believe Roxas is just an edgier version of Sora, heck he is Sora's edgy side since he was born from him, and I believe it makes sense for Roxas seething anger and unresolved feelings to bubble up through Sora. Take how Sora reacts to meeting the Organization for the first time, he reacts very strongly in a "uncharacteristic" manner for him, but considering he now has had Roxas fuse with him, it is very nice to see Roxas still being with Sora and that Roxas still needs to come to terms with his own conflict with the Org even when in Sora's body. After the ending of KH2, we see that Roxas is more at peace, having gotten his arc properly closed with the defeat of Xemnas and the other members, and thus Sora also seems to settle into a more cheery personality moving forward (despite all the trauma he is going through, which is very surprising). I do really hope we get to see this come full circle with KH4, I want I return of the edge, as now Sora needs to figure out his own inner conflict and lack of self-esteem and it would be very interesting to have Sora show that part of himself that is not always cheery and bright, it would ad to his character to have to face it.
