Love the Wilson golf balls. Great value and very narrow dispersion. Use Triad in summer and Duo Soft in winter. Ryan, it appears to me that the word PERFORMANCE looks to have been spelt PERFOMANCE on the board in your swing studio!

Played there in 2000 for $40. $350 now. Love both courses and one of my fav club houses ever. But Ireland golf has gotten way to expensive. Sad really.

But are they midsize cc head size ? I have the blade icons from Hogan plus had the blade Apex 2006, and prefer the blade head compact head. If they resemble shovels, then think I’ll pass. Thx

I am a low handicap player ,I play golf nearly every day and I partecipate to a lot of tournaments so I acquired a bit of experience in this game.Do not fall in the trap of the club manufacturers, the wedges are all more or less the same.Do not listen to their advertising , do not believe them, they only want to grab your money. There is not much difference from one brand to an other one.The important is to learn how to play the short game, the brand of your wedges is irrelevant

You sank one cruiser and barely missed the edge on the other two, while the mini didn't come close to the hole. I'd suggest going with the uncomfortable cumbersome putter.

Had my 12 year old fitted and he liked the zx5’s. Srixon really wasn’t on our radar but we put them in the bag despite that. Wow! They are phenomenal!! The turf interaction with the V sole is brilliant. I’m ditching my Taylor Made pro series witch are approximately 15 years old putting the Srixon’s in my bag!!

The forged clubs dont change much. These new composite clubs are altogether different. The drivers are entirely different. The balls have changed significantly. Bottom line, technology is changing the game and the PGA needs to step up before this gets out of hand.

I was looking for somebody to review these that actually had hit them and, preferably, own them, and also launch monitor data, so, thanks for the info, I am very interested in these, used to play the Apex model long ago. Looks is important but if they don't perform, it doesn't matter to me. Now I just have to figure out which shaft and I am pretty much clueless. Used to be scratch for real but I am old now, have lost distance (ugh!) and haven't played in many years. I don't wanna shoot 85, I want to shoot par, lol. At age 70, that might be asking for a bit much but I will certainly work at it!

I think they offer the option of trying a 7 iron in a shaft/spec you think may suit you so may be worth a try. Something like KBS Tour Lite or Recoil if you are thinking of trying graphite?

@mydogdidit
@mydogdidit 26 күн бұрын
@@jnnic8138 Yes, I see that. I have been thinking about that. But then I have to wonder does it matter. What seems to matter most is gapping. Should it matter to me that I hit (carry) a 7i blade iron 135 yards now at age 70 instead of 152 when I played to scratch and better? If I got a new iron set that had a 7i I could hit (carry) 152, would that be better for me? It might help the ego but, seriously, does that matter? I don't know, I've never been 70 until now, lol. I don't think my ego is so strong that this matters. Not sure. If hitting irons longer makes me play better, I'd get two benefits, one to my ego and one to my score. What I know is I want to hit irons accurately. If every iron is longer, how does that factor in? Of course, I hit the driver shorter these days, so, all approach irons are lower loft than before. I have been pondering this, it's confusing. Yes, I am playing shorter tees these days. MUCH shorter. Like, 1000 yards shorter.

So funny how you mentioned how look like the old Taylor Made Rac irons because the Rac irons are the first set that I've ever bought, and I still have them till this day. I've been looking to upgrade without losing the feel of my rac set, and I think the p7cb irons are going to be it. Thank you!
