Honestly it's gunna be the same so I would decided on 1) the looks and what you can do to change that (like graphics/seats/bling) and 2) look at the aftermarket support. They are usually same/same except of pieces like plastics, seats, headlights, etc.. Either way its a good choice hahahah

Brother your bike looks amazing! I just have to ask. Have you removed stock airbox and moved battery forward? I higly recomend the evo 2 kit. Rotweiler also has some good bolt on stuff. But i highly recomend evo 2 kit with custome tune. It wakes the bike up crazy! Mine went from 150 kg to 136kg and 58 whp to 70.4whp. And yes those 75hp ktm says are crank not whp. I never got the papers for crank power. But have whp for evo 2 kit with and wothout cam. Ink cam is 70.4whp and without was 67.4whp. So when u go from 75 to 90 ish crank and 150 to 136kg.. it really helps on that small weight. U go from struggle to powerwheelie in 3rd to using 3rd as 2 gear.. so insted of 30mph 2 gear powerwheele u go 50mph 3rd gear wheelie.. and thats a pretty crazy difference..
@LifeWellRidden
@LifeWellRidden 6 күн бұрын
Thank you! And holy crap your the expert on the evo kit, I have the Rott system on there with a tune so I know the power difference (which is awesome) hahah and when I dyno'd I was right at that 71 hp mark.. But the wheelies.. that scares me hahaha
@TrygveJohannSørensen
@TrygveJohannSørensen 6 күн бұрын
@LifeWellRidden how u got 71 from rotweiler with tune and airfilter..? Fully built with cam and everything its 70 at the wheel.. mine was around 90bhp and 70.4whp wich is a good bump.. and i do not try to sound dumb.. but evo 2 and rotweiler is two very different lvl.. its literally stage 1 vs stage 4.. Dont remember brand. But they have pistons, Rings and cylinder Walls.. they say it bumps it another 3-5bhp.. but idk.. have already fully built that 690 engine once... and idk if the 3bhp is worth the work 😅
@LifeWellRidden

I just got a 2024 701 supermoto. Love it. It lacks low end. So I got the fuel dongle. That helped like 50%. Then while contemplating a Rottweiler intake, I noticed the bike has a snorkel. I took it off. That helped another 25%. To fix that last 25% will cost $3000. I don't even want a pipe on it cause it's already look at me loud. I'm happy with it. Has plenty of horsepower for the street and handles and brakes like a bicycle. Everybody mods them, but an expert can beat 90% percent of people who spent thousands to hop em up on this thing as it comes stock.

Any bike can have an issue, even a Japanese. This is why there is a warranty. This story is rather good for KTM as they solved the issue without penalizing the customer. KTM bashing has become the norm on internet but it is not always true and this case shows it,
@LifeWellRidden
@LifeWellRidden 20 күн бұрын
I would have to agree, KTM did a stand up job at resolving the issue for me but it's not the case with other's who have had this issue. I have noticed that KTM has come under some heat for their issues, Camshaft failures on the 790/890 platform and even their financial state loosing almost 2 billion with a B but I still stand behind the brand and their products
@edouardl2
@edouardl2 20 күн бұрын
@@LifeWellRidden I need to first say i own a 790 ADV and i am in love with the bike. There are few glitches like false alarm at start or cold start which is a pain in the neck but nothing serious. This being said, KTM is renowned for poor service and reliability issues. This is probably unfair as the 690 look quite reliable. FYI, their losses are coming from the fact they continued to produce bikes at high rates meanwhile their sales were falling down. This is why they faced big losses and showed the top management was totally inept. Doesn't mean the engineers are bad but the managers need to be replaced.

Never heard about his before. Guess it is a rare one? The only serious engine issue i have read about 690s was the 2012-2013 braking cam follower, they corrected it on the 2014 and on.
@LifeWellRidden

It is uncommon on the 19+ models (from what I hear). This is primarily from a 2018 recall and issues with previous years. I have found a few people who have run into this issue but I would say its a rare thing..
