Super useful, just no longer correct! Eberspacher changed the design of the glow pin (now you just snatch it out of there with a needlenose pliers) and the atomizer screen (hell if I know how to get that damn thing out, I'm freezing my ass off witha broken heater). Anybody with a new Eberspacher -- GOOD LUCK with your very expensive heater with no support whatsoever. BUY CHINESE. GET BETTER SUPPORT.

A word to the wise in regard to quality. You can buy cheap and replace shorty after or spend a little extra and get quality that will perform and last. Buy once, cry once. Buy twice, cry twice. The choice is yours.

Just got back from a trip to Cape Breton with my dad to take my grandfather's ashes home. He grew up in Reserve Mines, but my great-grandfather is from Cheticamp, so we spent a day there. I've never felt so at home anywhere else in my life. I've been home two days now, and it's still all I can think about. Videos like this help keep it fresh!

There is no simmer for this beast. It works great and everything cooks quickly because of the 15,000 BTU's, so watch how you cook on this thing. I would use this for a wok, like fried rice.

Id get a seatbelt lock as well so you can stop anymore excess being pulled after locking in place. Then noone can open the door at all..or even wrap excess around the head piece.

Beautiful animal though it’s actually not a mountain goat This is a California Bighorn sheep Mountain goats are pure white & typically would not be found in the Liwer Nicola unless wildfire forced them to flee to there or some other circumstances caused them to be there There is quite a bit of difference between goats & sheep they aren’t the same species It’s better to post the correct name of the species of animals people post of I see the bighorns on Hwy 1 & Hwy 8 near year round As for the white mountain goats I’ve been blessed once to see one on a steep rocky ledge near Lytton BC & long ago when much younger I was blessed to see a few of them in Mt Robson BC Rocky Mountain Goats not the same as Bighorn Sheep

I agree that Coleman stove burner is a piece of shit and their butane cans. This Japanese stove burner is just fantastic. They make different models, so of them fancier and some smaller but powerful

Did the older Yeti 1000 have a lower rating for charging? Looking at the Goal Zero website, it states that the High Power Charge Port can handle 14-50V up to 50A. Is there some other limiting factor that I'm missing?

Nice review. I have a couple of these for power outages, but they are cheap quality. I wish these could be adapted for my refillable Fuel Kegs or Flame King 1 pound propane bottles like the Gas One 3900 model.

Does the screen need to be lower than the flame front hole that you pointed out? I can't seem to get mine to seat low enough to clear that hole and no matter what I do the thing won't start. Glow plug is good. I've cleaned up the whole unit and it just smokes

I’m planning of buying this. Do I need to remove the butane canister every time after cooking? I will only use it ones a day for minor cooking. I think it’s not practical if I will remove it everytime after cooking. Thanks
@sprinterdiscovery
@sprinterdiscovery 11 ай бұрын
We leave our canister connected while we travel, even over very rough roads. No issues to date, and no problems with leaking or escaping fuel (unlike our previous cheap Coleman butane stove). We really love this Iwatani stove!

The cartridges get hot over long cooking periods in fact very hot because the shielding is rubbish!!!!
@sprinterdiscovery
@sprinterdiscovery 11 ай бұрын
No it doesn't. You simply have an oversized pan sitting on the burner. The flame will then fan out over the shield. use a proper sized pan (no larger than the burner grates, and it is absolutely fine.
