Great video Ash, not a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas just not for me. I really enjoyed Violent Night didn't watch it this year but will go back to it next year. Arthur Christmas is one of those that I have watched many times since it was released so another one I needed to have a break from this year but still a great film. I love Gremilns only watched it for the first time again few years ago but didn't get around to watching it this year. Home Alone is definitely a classic but one I skipped this year, really want the second one to get the 4K treatment soon. Die Hard is definitely a Christmas movie, i watched both this and the second one (also a Christmas movie) earlier in the month I'm the same i could watch this every year and it doesn't get old for me. I haven't seen The Muppets Christmas Carol in years, will be watching it next year. Hope you had a great Christmas.

Loving the list Ash, enjoy a lot of these. Haven't watched Arthur Christmas, gotta check it out. Haven't heard of the He-Man and She-Ra special. Don't know how that passed my by as loved MOTU as a kid. Loved alot of these though don't own them so didn't show them in my top 15. You need to give the movie It's a Wonderful Life a go. Better than all these movies put together. It's a Christmas classic

Great video Ash, still haven't watched Speak No Evil but have heard very good things about it. Got the chance to see The Wild Robot at the LFF this year and its currently in my top 5 of the year was blown away by it. I really liked Deadpool & Wolverine but do think it was a bit overhyped and relied on cameos and bits, I think without those things this wouldn't be very rewatchable. Abigail was one I was a bit late to watching but was very impressed with it, it's ashame that they ruined the twist in the trailer but was still a very enjoyable and funny watch. I was pleasantly surprised by Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, it exceeded my expectations and was a very fun time. I wouldn't say i enjoyed The Substance but it was definitely an experience and was much more than I expected it to be. Hope you're having a great weekend.

The Long Good Friday is the only one in that list I've seen. Some of the others sound interesting. I've been trying to work through my watch list. It's down to 575 from about 650 😆 I might have heard of The Sandlot from my old job, but I've never seen it. Trev

'The Borderlands' went from a really enjoyable creepfest to downright terrifying in the final sequence.. very cool flick, stayed with me for a couple days after. Nice Top 10, overall.

I have not seen it yet, but isn't the movie sacrament based on true story?

I knew of Bob Hoskins for many years because of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Hook and appearing in a successful campaign of adverts for BT (British Telecom). My cousins even had the bumper video of Roger Rabbit. Even though, I became aware of Good Friday through DVD in HMV and MVC - remember them - I didn’t see the film until I watched my brother’s Arrow Video Blu-Ray with him a couple of years ago. I’ve seen it a couple of times since, Ash.

Hi Ash, Haven't watched The Sandlot in years but remember it being a cracking film, The Long good Friday is a film i haven't watched since a teenager and i didn't like it at the time, think i was too young to appreciate it if i'm honest, need to re-watch that one. The one i will put on my list is Terrorvision, i always see people talking about that one but i have never seen it, probably my type of film.

Great video as always, I loved Dream Scenario just was really out there and unique very much felt in the vein of a Charlie Kaufman film. I really liked Red Rocket, Sean Baker is slowly becoming one of my favourite directors, you should check out Anora which just came out, it's currently my favourite film this year and one of the best films of the 21st century (imo). I remember you mentioning The Last video store a few months back. Ordered the Arrow a few days ago. The Long Good Friday is utterly brilliant. Bob Hoskins is a national treasure. The main theme is excellent. Mona Lisa is a solid watch starring Bob. Two of my favourite first time watches for 2024 have to be Leviathan & The Substance which blew me away. Great video topic 👍😀

Interesting picks, haven't seen a lot of these. Want to watch Robot Dreams. Was thinking of getting The Last Video Store, you have sold me on it. Sounds a bit like a film I watched a few years ago with a video store and a game a bit like Jumanji though can't remember what it was called. The Borderlands is fanyastic, in my list of top watches, the ending haunted me days after. Lovely Second Sight Films edition of The Borderlands and The Sacrament. Think I watched The Sandlot as a kid though unsure so gonna watch it again on your recommendation

Hi Ash, I have that Piranha on my Amazon wish list, i do own the Scream Blu-ray of it, I felt the same as you, its a film that gets better every time you watch it. Jeepers creepers 2 is my favourite out of the franchise, excellent pickups mate.

Great video Ash, some great titles in there. Have heard of The Art of Getting By but didn't know what it was about will have to try and find after your recommendation. I really like A Time to Kill, it's a great courtroom thriller, The Client, The Rainmaker and Runaway Jury are all also great thrillers based on John Grisham books. Great pickups

Hi Ash. Great pickups. Wild Tales is a great anthology film. The best tale is the last one set at a wedding. Now that is wild. I really enjoyed Freaks and one I need to pickup myself. For me it could have been set in the x-men universe. Mudbound is an excellent racial film. I didn't realise criterion had released it.

That Hell House box set looks amazing!! Piranha is awesome, glad it’s getting better for you. Terrorvision is fun, haven’t seen The Video Dead since I was a kid and can’t remember it.

Yes I found Black Snake Moan in the Charity Shop, was £1 or £2 don't believe it has uk blu ray, it does play on UK player

Great video Ash, I remember when Vivarium came out, I know I have watched parts of it but can't remember if I watched the whole film😂. Definitely like an episode of Black Mirror. I believe Liam Nesson is in Leap of Faith as well, is definitely one I want to give a watch at some point if I can find it somewhere.

You got the Hell House boxset, awesome 👌 1&4 are fantastic. They are all a good creepy time. Vavarium is odd. Very Black mirror like, as you said. 😎👍😃
