Great pickups and upgrades Ash. Die Hard is a Christmas movie! I have several of these on 4K and I'm sure you're going to enjoy them. Also makes me laugh about how every KZbinr around our age sees American Pie as a must buy. I couldnt help myself either

​@@popcornandhorror before the 4k was announced I managed to pick up and watch all 4 American Pie's. The nostalgia was so nice and I think I enjoyed them more than the 1st time around. Do you have your collection listed anywhere?

If you like i am legend have you seen the omega man with Charlton Heston ? You are so correct Donnie darko threatrical cut is the best version i adore Donnie darko 👌🏻 nice pickups ash 👌🏻

I do love a bit of Edgar Wright 😅👍🏻 Baby driver was a pretty low cost upgrade to be honest. I really like the music and the car scenes 👍🏻

Did not expect 88 Films to release American Pie, but that looks like a fantastic edition. I love The Crow. Die Hard is a Christmas staple for me too. The Resident Evil franchise is fun. I can imagine The Shallows looks fantastic on 4K. Great pick ups.

Cheers Bryn 😄👍🏻 glad to hear ur on team Christmas 😄 yeah I think the Shallows was the 1st blu rays I ran through my projector when i 1st got it, at 100 inches big and I was amazed at the detail and image. So can't wait to see what the 4k disc looks like!

Yes mate, same coffee I like to sit down with on a Sunday morning with ur video to watch 😄👍🏻 I think Adaptation, and Charile Kaufman can be a bit of an acquired taste, I'm sure it's not for alot of people 😄 maybe just my odd brain 🙃

@@popcornandhorror haha that's good to hear. Yeah, the first time I watched it, its just didn't click with me, I didn't think it was bad but I just wasn't feeling it. One I'd certainly check out again though, I always find a second viewing worthwhile.

Great pickups, Ash! I'm with you on Donnie Darko. The theatrical cut is far superior. The director's cut adds too many unnecessary scenes and changes the soundtrack!

Really great pick ups Ash, haven't heard of Adaptation. Don't know if I know other films written by Charlie Kaufman. Gotta get round to checking out the recent Alien films, purchasing Romulus when I go out. Picked up Baby Driver recently, haven't watched it yet. Getting round to it soon. Blade Runner is great matey. Joe Pesci is wild in Casino. The Crow is a favourite. Keep up the fantastic work matey

Cheers Tim 😁👍🏻 I think u might like Adaptation mate, most of Charlie Kaufmans movies are weird, not in a horror or Asian extreme kind of weird but a drama kind of way. Pretty hard to explain I guess 😅 I'd say he's definitely worth looking into, as with everything there's better ones and not as good ones but that will all come down to personal taste and opinion 😎👍🏻
